Went to Centaurus yesterday (Saturday). Just came across it without looking for it but knew of it from the forum. I was surprised at the price. 140 Real entrance fee and 350 Real for a lady (40 minutes). Total of 490 (about US$ 220) , which I thought was steep. But what the heck, how often are you in Rio? The manager at the front desk was nice and professional and spoke good English. Courteous guy in my view.

Routine as described here. Change into a clean but faded and well used white robe. Lock your clothes and belongings in a locker, take a (cold) shower and then upstairs to see the girls. I was surprised by how small the main room was. I expected bigger given what I had heard about Centaurus.

The manager said he had 65 girls. I saw probably 40 or so while I was there. Ranged from a 7 with lots of 8's, a few 9's and a couple of 10's. Mostly white skinned, some with a bit of tan. No black girls, which was too bad as many of them are great lookers. I like the lingerie they wear. Black, white or red. Nice. The girls were friendly and laid back. No feeling of being rushed. I talked to a few and then chose a nice tan skinned lady with some nice knockers that turned out to be silicone aided, which was one point down. She was a 9 in my judgment but more than made up for it with a great attitude. Nice session then back to the main room.

I can't imagine many women in the world where I would pay that kind of money. Wow. And it was 9:30 pm with a closing of (I think 2:00 am). She was understanding but disappointed not to leave. A boring night. My guess is she would have made a lot from the fee also. After a few minutes, I gave her a kiss on the cheek and departed.

The good: Professional, courteous service. Lots of choices with girls who both looked great, nice personalities and speak enough English to get by. Professionally run. Courteous staff. Laid back atmosphere. You are not rushed.

The bad: really expensive. Probably will not repeat due to price. Rooms are plain. Not shabby, but plain given how much you are paying. The robes have seen better times. And they ought to do something about those cold showers.

I just can't imagine how it can be worth TWICE as much as 4x4 (where you can have two SIXTY minute sessions for R$ 480, if the first is before 6pm). Interesting that they have an official take-out price though, does anyone know if this is unique to Centaurus?

Thursday I have been at 4x4. It is my second time there (first was in 2011) , and as the previous time also this time I didn't saw so many girl as described in the forum. There were around 40 girls, and not many good looking girls (I was expecting more.). Anyway the price is very good (240 for 1h in a nice room). So I cannot complain. However what I don't like of this place is that the girls try to bring you immediately in the room. They don't spend enough time with you before. So if you say that you need some time, they just go away and stand up in the boite doing nothing.

Then Friday I have been at Monte Carlo. The termas is quite empty these days (at least Friday). I saw around 30 girls, just 2 or 3 very good girls, plus 5 or 6 quite good (just talking about white skin girls, because personally I prefer those). So I personally think that the quality is not so high as previously mentioned in the forum, however it is very good. Moreover I have to say that among the termas I visited, Montecarlo is still my favourite. There girls are more available to spend some time with you also before going in the room. Let us say that the social time is much better than 4x4.

Regarding the Solarium I have not been there this year, but I called by phone and I confirm that it is closed Sunday.

Unfortunately I didn't read the forum these days and I was not aware that Centaurus was open (actually I passed there at 17:00 and it was closed and I didn't realize that it was going to open). Next weekend I will be back in Rio and for sure I will try it! I just called right now and they confirm that it is open from 18:00 to 2:00 from Monday to Saturday. They told me they have around 60 girls (for sure they are less, might expect 40?).

Anyone has info about L'Uomo? Is it goint to open soon? Still nothing to do Sunday, and unfortunately this is my last Sunday in Rio, at least for this year. .

On my last trip to Rio I decided that I've never been to the Sultan Suite (Their most expensive room) at 4 X 4, so I splurged. Paid the BR420 for a 90 minure session with a true sex maniac and it was worth every penny.

Centaurus is on my "Oh, hell no" list. The price of BR2450 real means I could have had the same or different chicks at the Sultan Suite for 90 minures almost 6 times? Again, haven't been there and never will, but I have to thank you for not letting them take advantage of you. That's why their crooked azzes got shut down for all that time. I probably don't have much to add that hasn't already been discussed, but perhaps this will be helpful to some. I planned a few free days in Rio in early and mid-August in between work obligations. Several previous posts were helpful. Thanks. I enjoy variety in terms of girls and venues and spent most of my time in the Copacabana area. Yep, prices have gone up in the last few years: It's called inflation. But you still get better prices than in London, Madrid, Paris, SF, LA or New York. And much better sex. Ditto: If your favourite shop closed down, just look somewhere else. Sex, like food, it's a daily need in Rio. For tourists and locals alike. They love it, they need it. It won't get away. It will just change locations.
