The week leading up to Eid al-Fitr the girls at Blok-M still avail but quite. All the alcohol is put away and drinking is kept to a discreet level. The Girls will be older though as most of the young ones will be gone to visit family. On Friday the 17th Fitr day I believe all serving of alcohol is banned and most of the bars clubs are shut. Including Blok-M. But I have been reliable informed one can still have at drink at the Hotel Borobudur. Good luck best to get some numbers of girls the week before and ring them up for some company. You never know there are quite a few lonely souls that would love some company at that time.

Lucy in the Sky, never been, is it good? It was great to read the other day that the old Jaya pub has picked up again as a venue. It has that nice old fashioned pub atmosphere. I think that went missing in the blok, since a few years.

The good thing about this strategy is you weed out the husband hunters up front. Lots of women don't want to see you if you are married, but in my experience they are the ones you want to get rid of quickly anyway. So this just speeds up the process. Plenty of fish in the Jakarta sea that are happy to hook up with married bules for some 'taxi fare' and some that refuse money altogether.

Find a girl who comes from Jakarta (and her family is still here), who is up for some hotel action. Don't forget to book a room with a bar fridge for some beers.

Plan it through the social media, will take some time to sift through, but it is possible.

I can't vouch for the Borobudur, but I do know the international hotel bars all serve alcohol (some disguised and some not). Or another option is the restaurants / bars which will serve you beer out of tea-cups. I won't mention any specially on here, as I don't want them to be targeted by the powers-to-be who read this forum. A little trial an error and you will soon find some. And yes, as ClearWater states the 17th will be a ghost town.

P.S. BATS, CJ's etc turn the lights on at 1. 30 not 3 am during all of Ramadan.

Though you're right about many women targerting bule's for financial reasons, there is still a huge quantity of them, who just want to have a good time with a handsome and charming guy.

The down side is all the lights are on, so it's mongering in full glare. All other places that I have been to are closed. Blok, BATS and bars out in Kemang.

You go there, cross a short pedestrian bridge across a small river and there you are. The entrance to the pub is up a flight of stairs, if I remember correctly (haven't been there in 3 years). Will there be any issue importing liquor into Jakarta during Ramadan? By importing I mean through the airport, although I suspect that's fairly obvious. LOL.

I'm sorry I didn't share this before, but on one of my last activities, I went with JAD to Bintang Mawar. When a mamasan approached I told her what I was looking for. I told her that age, as long as it is not above 40, would not be an issue.
