The crozmap has only been going for a few months and we're not IT experts by any means so it's too early to be flamed. It's not been built for weekend sexpats and many of the venues require a fairly good comprehension of one of the local bahasa to partake in.

The huge letters in the sign though are just Bintang Mawar.[/QUOTE]The "Coffee House" thing goes back to the good old alcohol prohibition days when Bang Ali Sadikin was governor when hard spirits could only be bought either from Duty Free Shops (required something called a KIMS), Hotels and yes you've guessed it, coffee houses. Being a coffee house meant it had a late licence from the Army, much like Hotel means thare are short time rooms today. Many of the bars in Mabes and Menteng were called coffee houses. Thats's why Jaya Pub is recorded as the first Pub as every other bar was called a coffee house. There's a very very famous song called Kopi Dangdut that aludes to it all.

There are guys, like me most of the time, who want a simple life and will just go to a North / West Jakarta knocking shop for the point-and-shoot form of relief, or pick some trouper out of a Blok M bar. Then there are the guys, a bit younger, a bit more hip, who want to pick up "freebies" and so get on their finest duds to pick up the beautiful young things at Jakarta's trendiest night spots, giving it the white man's overbite as they strut their stuff on the dancefloor, hoping to attract some bored little rich kid or wannabe starlet. Both great options it must be said if that's what you are into, whatever floats your boat, go for it.

Meanwhile there is this vast untapped pool of attractive, intelligent, ordinary women who are often leading lives of quiet desperation, who simply want a bit of uncomplicated fun and attention from some nice guy who'll treat them well for an evening or two, and relieve them of their lives of tedious monotony.

I have described these types before but let me give an example, she'll stand in for the literally thousands of her sisters. Very attractive woman, 27 years of age, has a secretarial job with a government ministry, keeps herself in great shape by daily trips to the gym, and after a mere day and a half of chatting she made it plain she was willing to meet up for a late-afternoon hook-up, this despite her initial protestations, stated plainly on her profile, that she wasn't interested in sex and was merely seeking friendship. So why is she now willing to meet a married man in his late forties she barely knows for sex?

Simple: Boredom. The great give away is the age, she's 27 (I never bother tapping under 23's, a waste of time) and unmarried, so we know straight away she has been around the relationship block at least once, probably twice, and has had her heart broken. She's kinda getting on a bit in Indonesian terms but she has no desire to start another relationship and invest another two or three years in a guy that will end up jerking her around. So she keeps herself fit, she gets on with her job, she makes the daily commute from her kos or her family home in Bintaro or Depok into work and she is quite simply bored out of her tiny mind.

Some guy comes along, a foreigner, no one she knows will be acquainted with him, who listens to her woes about her singleton existence, tut-tuts and says the right words about how all men are shits and how she deserves better, and meets her for dinner and drinks at a nice restaurant, treats her like a lady and most importantly doesn't lie. That's the key, as MD II so admirably puts it "naughty but not bad", he openly tells her there is no possibility of a long-term relationship but there's plenty of possibility of good-old fashioned fun and great sex (never forget lads, Indonesian women like sex you know, they like it a lot) and it will be discreet and no one in her family or office will ever be the wiser.

What's not to like? It's win-win all round.

Located in jalan Mangga Besar v (5), not that far from Lokasari Mal (you can park your car and cross the little street to get there).

But now BM is no longer at the top, among locals. For a cheap fuck, now looks like Classic floor 2 and 5, and Travel hotel are more popular now. I rarely saw foreigners (bule) came to BM.

Of course if you want high end market, still Alexis and Malioboro at the top and provide import girls.

As you are a seasoned pro here Sir I was interested to hear your take on this as my recent experience left me feeling somewhat scammed.

On WC I was bombarded by massage proposals all of which seemed to be an outcall service offering Male Vitality Massage.

I picked the most appealing looking and after trading chat for well over an hour such as "what sort of massage? "how much, how long? "do you have a girl with large breasts?" etc, a time and deal was cooked up.

We continued to chat as she was supposedly on her way then close to the due time my last message was rejected as she had blocked me on WC! WTF?

I started the process with another and at the end exactly the same thing happened.

I can only guess it was a scam of some sort but I couldn't figure out how it could possibly work.

I was admittedly firm about the deal and refused to give my room details instead insisted on meeting in the hotel lobby to check the merch first but was always polite if perhaps a tad impatient after the second one still hadn't arrived after 45 minutes and yeah I know about the traffic here.

Odd and very frustrating in every sense.
