The party line
I don't know who the Moron is that would feel safer in El Central at night than Poblado, but I wish I was the beneficiary in his will. HAha
"OK you win. To answer your question if I had to choose I would say Poblado is safer than El Centro at 2 AM "
This my fine friend was in my post where you think I'm a moron. Well this Moran can read. How about you? A sad person who even jokes about anothers demise.
Know what I'm going to change my tune, and follow the party line that the wonderful Pobaldo (Miami) is the cats meow.
I want all you guys who have no sense of adventure or balls to flock to Poblado. Better yet just take your butts to CTG. That is really safe. You will feel right at home there.
Yes Schmwrr I am now in Nicaragua, but you would never venture further from your beloved CTG then a trip to Santa Marta.
One other thing Mr. S I actually do some trip reports on occasion not nit picking like you and others on this RA RA Pobaldo board. (Ricker I'm not referring to you)
So in closing I wish all you guys get the BBBJ that you crave. Just don't forget your in latin america not Miami.

Population size
Great figure. Do I understand right that the population size is not controlled in the figure? Do the numbers indicate the "amount" of murders, rather than the "ratio" of the murders to a specific number of the population? Thanks.
Yea, Here is a report I have looking for that I read a few months ago it has the barrios mapped out by murder rate, Poblado being the safest no shit. LOL.
On the link near the bottom of the page has the map and murders, I read different article that had Prado by far with the highest and the area surrounding Mayorista but can't find it yet.
OK you win. To answer your question if I had to choose I would say Poblado is safer than El Centro at 2 AM I still think overall more Gringos are robbed in Poblado than Centro, but at 2 AM I will agree with you.
As far as answering a hypothetical question I never liked them. The famous one is "do you like to suck big dicks or small ones?"
Oh Gloria, Hallelujah!! Hahaha.
As far as your point about more gringos being robbed in Poblado, well I already agreed with ya there, see my previous post below.
Gringos can be dumb at times, but not too many that stupid to roam el Central at night, hence more Gringos are probably robbed in el Poblado than Central.
... Many more crimes of violence, neither reported or cared about occur in el Central. Just not to gringos, because in reality most guys are just not that foolish to hang there at night, especially away from the main drags ...
I don't mean el Central as standing outside the main strip club doors for a smoke, plenty of guys hit the strip clubs. Cool.
I'm talking danger is walking the streets off the beaten path.
I couldn't even imagine the paranoia I'd feel doing that at night.
As far as hypothetical questions go, you make a funny, but good point, haha. :)

I dig a good debate, but keep it clean and not disrespectful.
As far as Miami goes, I was walking about there yesterday, waiting for my same day passport renewal to be processed for pickup, and I foolishly wandered into a bad area, was being looked at and not in a good way.
Got my arshe out of there in a hurry.
Looking at a trip to Colombia in the next few weeks, so hopefully I can add a good trip report soon.
Been hanging in Brazil, and I hate to be too specific on my reports there as to not have my spots flooded by you guys. Hahaha.
Take care.

Just by commune.
No shit more gringos get robbed in Poblado as I am sure more Eskimos get robbed in Alaska than in Miami, that doesn't mean Eskimos are safer in Miami at 2am it just means there aren't as many there compared to Alaska. Just like Poblado and Centro, shit loads more gringos in Poblado than Centro as most of you already know.

Options?
Wpw, it appears that anytime someone mentions a "competitor" of the mansion nothing but negativity comes. Are they all bad? Remember, fine line between kissing ass and licking ass. Let the fun begin.

I guess no body wants to talk about my pig and potatoe farming days in Western Australia, darn.

Chill out
I shouldn't have called anyone specifically a moron, My intensions were that I don't mislead a newbie to relax in el central, in Poblado for that matter also, maybe I learned something, I was allways comfortable there, anyways ill be hitting Medellin in a few weeks and try to bring in a good report or 2, Good experiences to all, and lets please get back to the women, and take it as a given that its dangerous.

MDE blues
I'm still in Managua, and if you thought it rains to much in MDE then don't come to MGA during the rainy season. Also very hot here compared to MDE. I think that is why my posts lately have been a little off the hook. I think it is because I wish I was in MDE. LOL.
My real intent was to just let everyone know that safety is paramont In all MDE not just some areas.
There is a fellow I have met a couple of times on two different trips to MDE, and next time I see him I'll ask his permission to post about his action in MDE A true legend in the making, but is not a member of ISG. Jack knows who I mean.
Yes by all means lets get back to the good stuff.
Schmwrr my friend looks like your on the road to a little vacation from ISG.

The pool
I guess no body wants to talk about my pig and potatoe farming days in Western Australia, darn.
A. G.
What we do want to talk about is your closing of the pool area at 4pm. So if I step.
Out of my favorite room, # 11, at 4:05pm, I will not be allowed to sit or stand outside.
My room? The gestapo wasn't that cruel. No chicas by the pool, herding them all.
Into the basement. Hotel Medellin Plaza, the only hotel in the world where the pool.
Closes at 4pm & women aren't allowed at the pool. Wow, they're not that strict in Saudi Arabia!

Termas or similar
Does anyone know if MDE has saunas where the girls interact with you. Either cleaning you up before some fun (like Macau) or Turkish bath?

Yes you will be able to sit or stand in the pool area.
My room? The gestapo wasn't that cruel, no chicas by the pool.
A. G.
Thats correct, no chicas by the pool unless they are swimming, tanning and or are wth a guest.
Herding them all into the basement.
A. G.
Even before 4. 00pm, all visitors will be required to sit in the new bar area unless they have been invited into the guests room by the guest.
Hotel Medellin Plaza, the only hotel in the world where the pool closes at 4pm.
A. G.
I guess many people can speculate, all I would like to say is. Wait and see for your self how Medellin Bob and I to a small extent are going to run the bar.
Women aren't allowed at the pool. Wow, they're not that strict in Saudi Arabia!
A. G.
Wrong, whats a swimming pool for?
You can only be a guest of the hotel to use the bar anyway unless you are invited by MM, BBB and or A. G.
We might have a open day for all you people who are too cheep to stay with us jajajajajajajajaja but we will probley double the drink prices that day and have no englich laungage students lessons.
Anymore questions!
