Just saw in the local paper that the cops busted Skyline in the Grand Boulevard Hotel in the past couple days.
Haven't been by. Anyone seen the place since the bust? Anyone heard of a crackdown on MPs in general?
This place was running so in the open that I first became aware of it when a columnist in the local version of FHM magazine reviewed a visit to this place in considerable detail, including the address, price, and detailed description of the services.
That was over a year ago, so I wouldn't necessarily draw a connection between the magazine article and the bust, however.
I arrive in Manila in a few days around midnight. Last time there, I got a stretched limo to the hotel. Also, the black taxis were the only straight taxis then. (Marcos had got all the others to paint their cabs yellow like NY NY). My question: what is the safest way to get from the airport to downtown late at night?
Currently, I am going to get a taxi coupon at the airport and take it from there. Some "recent" poster spoke abut taking the bus. I admire his balls but a dead Domino won't get much Ph pussy:)

Domino,
Take the Nissan Premium Airport Taxi (NissanRentaCar). You can pre-book a taxi online on their website or just locate their office. If coming out of the NAIA international terminal 1, you'll need to walk past all the other coupon taxi vendors traverse the passenger pickup road (about 3 lanes) to get to the island where the Nissan Airport Taxi office is. I believe it's cheaper to pre-book, but it's something like a 75 peso difference. Chump change. I haven't had any problem with walking up to the office and getting a taxi from them. Tell them where you're going and they'll quote you a fixed price. It's as easy as that. PM me, if you need the website.

dear Genious 8 or other friends...
i used to frequent studio where u can c photo albums and pick nice girls. now i am returning to beloved Manila, i would like to learn updates studio names and phone numbers and if possible, address.
i really appriciate if you can share your knowledge on this topic. thank you in advance.
Domino:
Taking a taxi from the airport is safe and reliable. Letting your hotel know your flight, and asking them to arrange an airport pick up is more expensive, however, it's even safer. I've done both, and I have never had a problem, but if I wanted to be aboslutely sure of my safety, I would take the hotel pick up.

GE: Thanks for that. Are the black taxis (the honest ones) still on the prowl? I don't want listening to the bs of the rip off taxi drivers and so I would prefer the other.
Looks like my gf has bolted so I will have to get by on what is there. I will stay in Ermita at first but I will probably bolt down to Palawan or somewhere, get myself a good squaw, scrub her down at the local river and leave love take its course.Angeles and places don't interest me and Manila only becasue I arrive late at night. Last time, I was prowliing around Smoky Mountain but that is about 15 years ago
I also intend to be around for Easter. I reckon those crucifixions are a great place for picking up the babes. It is amazing how much gals like blood and gore.
It has been a long time since I was in the Ph. It seems as depressing now as it was then. Even checking on yahoo messenger, Manila has over 100 pages, compared to 20 or so for Bangkok.
Also, if time allows, I would like to check out the pirated DVDs around Quiapo. I know clothes etc are cheap but I have too many of them. Women apart, is there anything else there worth buying?
I have been in Manila on several occasions for an overnight trip. I often stay at the Trader's Hotel on Roxas Blvd because it is part of the Shangri La chain and during renovations it has been offering excellent deals on the internet ($50/nite). And, it is convenient to the airport.
I finally checked out the bar in the basement called Isis. Well, it was a blast. Two or three dozen girls dancing in shifts and a pool table. Other than myself and a few Arab guys, it was pretty empty.
The girls were all enthusiastic and very, very cute. If you are in town for a night, this is an easy option for a fun night and you can get to the airport quickly in the morning. It is also an interesting diversion if you tire of LA Cafe, EDSA, Burgos or Quezon Ave. Ah, so many choices.

The police walked through, hassled a few people (seemed to be checking more for drugs), then left. The place has been in full op since. It does seem that a number of places have come under pressure from the municiple authorities lately (Miss Brunette comes to mind) but it seems more like a shake down effort to make sure the proper pay-offs are made.
After passing thru Edsa approx 20 mins ahead of the bus that blew up, it really makes you start to think about things, like why am i here. After thinking for about two mins i remembered and called my old friend JR." Lets go and take a few beers and get you a girl" he says.. sounds like a good idea to me..!! Anyways, hit Athena on Roxas and boy is it expensive but the girls are models..!!! If you like the mestiza type, tall and gorgeous then 8000 pesos for the night might not sound too bad. Personally i like them brown, small, slim with big tits..!! So we had a couple beers and hit the casas.... still expensive by AC standards but nice selection of girls. first one had about 20 girls and couldnt make a choice so headed for no 2. As soon as I walked in I just new i had to have this one girl. Exactly what i like. Anyways, the girls in the casas are 4000 pesos for the night and off we went, dinner in a Bulalo Restaurant and back to the Hotel for a night of fireworks..!! Best night ive had in the Philippines this trip bombs or not..!! There may be travel advisories but my advice is fuck them all. the Philippines is no more dangerous that most western cities on friday night..!! Just thought id share my best night with you and for anyone looking foir a guide or drinking buddy my friend JR is the person to call. trustworthy and he can find you anything you need. great for newbies or anyone who just wants the security of someone to get around the bars and clubs of Manila. His no is 0917 414 5416.

Golazo et al,
You did not mention whether the girls available for P4P? Prices?
I have also been a frequent traveller to Manila over the years, but have done my mongering in EDSA, Burgos, a couple of houses (Flying Scotsman, I went an 8,000 peso joint once, but did not think the quality justified the price IMHO) , Hard Rock Cafe & TGIF, and an escort agency once. I even remember Ermita in the old days.
Having said that, I will be in Manila this week and would like to explore some alternatives and have a couple of questions for the Manila experts.
1) Where is LA Cafe?
2) What is Queson Ave?
3) How much are the house girls getting for ST nowadays?
4) Any other suggestions for P4P for 4,000 pesos or less?
5) Where is the low end of the market for 1,000 pesos or less?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Arrived Manila Saturday 1930 – in hotel by 2030.
Attended the 3 year anniversary party of SKYLINE in Grand Boulevard Hotel (along Roxas Boulevard – not far from US Embassy) from 2200 until midnight. Some of the WG’s there had a show, involving the gentlemen guests seriously (BBBJ’s), and giving out prizes (massages). It was great fun, and all participants were members of MTC (Manilatonight.com). SKYLINE seem to have lot of hot ladies (more than 150 MPA’s), so I will try to stop by later this week for their FS.
Thereafter, went to EDSA/Casino. Almost full house by midnight. Chatted with the staff, BF’d two girls, Louisa/22 and Tanya/25++ (php 1000 each to the bar), took them to my hote, Shangri-La Makati (no security problem). Promised them usd.50 each (php2500), as I was out of pesos, which made them very friendly. I know – according to some of you guys I overpaid by usd.10-20, but I got GREAT service. Shared some wine, showered, shaved them :) , and had 3 shots. Sent them away by 5AM
A few hours sleep, breakfast, then back to sleep. Called up an internet acquaintance (22yo). She came by the hotel as agreed at 4PM. Another 2 shots, and she ledt at 2200, but wanted to stay all night. Paid her PhP 1500 to leave (She’s not a pro WG, but college student in IT, with a scandiavian BF paying her school).
Oooops… almost forgot. I brought 2 toys along to play with this trip. One for G-spot/Clit, and one “rabbit”. All 3 ladies tremendously .
Total costs for first 27 hours in Manila, including, party in Sky Line, 5 shots, BF’s etc., about PhP11000 (usd.200).
Sorry for no pics to post, since flat battery, and no adapter available in room.
Note to self: BUY ADAPTER. ¨

”MY FAIR LADY” in EDSA Entertainment Complex will close down in 23 days due to end of lease.
The group owning the place has already built up a new “Entertainment Center” in the Domestic Road, in front of the domestic airport (Across Cebu Pacific) in Pasay City, with 8 new bars/nightclubs. Actually, the first club opened in April 2004, and is known now to be the best hidden secret in Manila.
Visited at about 1930 on Monday, and it was slow. Only about 8 male guests and at least 80 girls in the 8 clubs (that I could see at that time). When My Fair Lady close, the girls will move to the new place. I asked, and learned that BF is PhP1000 (as in EDSA), and the girls ask PhP2500 for short-time. Guess negotiable, as always.
Name of clubs:
My Fair Lady Night Club
Sophia Night Club
Makara Night Club
Venus Night Club
Mimosa Night Club
WOW Night Club
Blue Cristal Night Club
My Fair Bar and Café
Parking for about 100 cars.
I am now in Manila for the week with my girlfriend. If the bombs that were set off here last week have had any negative effect on Makati, it's not visible. We went to the Cafe Havana area of Greenbelt for dinner last night, and the outdoor area was packed...every restaurant, cafe, bar and club. There were literally hundreds and hundres of people, including the usual ladies parading up and down and back and forth on the sidewalks.
The police have just announced an arrest of two of the suspected bombers. It's strictly business as usual here.
:D
