I tried searching for this answer in previous posts but couldn't find something definite, so here goes.
Does Rio offer a sleeping facility that lets you spend the night after you've had your fun? If so, how much does it cost, and how long will they let you stay there?
Thanks!
It has been mentioned many times in this forum and not only about Rio
Rio (as most of macau saunas) have a common loung with long armcharis where one can lay down...and sleep.
As long as one can stand the light, dimmed at some point) and the stand the inevitable noise of a "public area"
Aside the main lounge there are 4-5 smaller rooms (they host 6 armchairs)
I do not know how these work, maybe if you are in a group of 4-6 people you ask ot use them if free. There is no real restriction on how long you stay there.
I once (maybe more than once!) stayed till 5-6 am having arrived in the late evening (kind of 11pm) and nobody bothered me
As long as you use the sauna services and pay for them :) (that is what the sauna is for)
There is a minimum fee you have to pay (around 4/500 MOP), but this is levied if you use some of the services (a soapie, shangai massage etc)
If you use only manicure or so that will add on to the minimum fee...:)
And do not forget: Rio is an hotel... so you canget a room there
But i dont think that is your strategyIt has been mentioned in many reports about a lot of people going to a sauna for an overnight there.
Read the reports anbout HK packages (ferry+sauna) and you will see a lot of people arrives in the evening and leave with an early ferry in the morning
PS: I earlier posted also a brochure from Tio and you can see the loung with the typical sauna armchair/beds
The waitresses always take care to lay towels on you so you are as under a blanket!

I know that a lot of posts have mentioned saunas offering sleeping areas, but I wanted to know specifically about Rio, and the posts that I did find about Rio weren't too specific regarding cost and whatnot.
But anyways, yeah, I'll look further into it. I'm just planning to save a night's expense at a hotel because I'm dedicating a whole night to Rio, so I figure I might as well stay until the morning and save some money for the craps table.

hey mate, one important thing: you can stay somehow as long as you wish but you do not get IN and OUT privileges...(like one gets with his car at hotel garages :) The minute you decide to go out for a walk or a visit to the casino or whatever...ding-ding-ding, the cashier gives you the bill and you have to pay for it. If you come back you start it all over again (with the minimum fees)
The good thing is that you can eat at Rio Sauna, so in a way no need to leave it for anything

Update to BOSS Sauna
I came this time via Ferry from Shenzhen and stayed one night in Macau.
BOSS is like as always was. A medium priced sauna, packages, sauna itsself to cold, only a few new lockers and closets.
Since I came from Shenzhen I didn't buy a package and went straight to BOSS. Like always they have girls helping you to sort your stuff into the locker and offering you a towel. The place wasn't crowed, maybe because it was thursday.
I did my standard procedure: Showering, sauna, cold pool, sauna, cold pool. When I did my 2nd sauna a nice girl, standing outside, tried to tease by stretching herself, smiling to me.
She was in charge of the body scrub, which I wanted to do. So I went after my last jump into the cold pool with her in the treatment room. Body scrub (incl. skin scrub, soapy massage with her breast) was really nice. She teased me, but didn't let me shoot off.
So I went after 25 mins into the relaxing room, ordered a water and then the line up. The manager explained me the package for 1288 MOP (incl. 1 extra like body scrub, 1 BOSS massager = 1h sex with a girl, 90 mins Shanghai massage). The line up contained 10 girls, all Vietnamese.
I choosed #6xx and went with her to our room after 2 mins.
New procedure: She first asked to lay down on the bed. Nice body massage with her boobs, then we went to the shower. After that we went back to the bed. She gave me a fantastic BBBJ, at least for 15 mins. Then we went to actions in different positions.
Overall very good. Even I was a little bit disappointed by the selection, this girl was great. 20yo, no English, smalls breast, wonderful skin, very friendly, a little bit shy.
After this session I went immediately to my Shanghai massage. This is always one of the highlights at BOSS for me. This time I got a 42 yo Thai lady. Her English was okay. She gave me a very good massage incl. head massage. She gave me a sensual HJ which sent me again over the edge.
So I left after 4hrs at BOSS the place totally satisfied and relaxed.
Overall damage: 1288 MOP.
BOSS is cheaper than the high end places like 18 or East. But it offers good value for the money, The package for 1288 MOP includes everything I need. The girls were very nice and sexy. I was happy.

Read that too, but to me sounds quite unrealistic.
Unless it happens in the odd hours like 3 or 4am...but still
There is always staff going around, there is always a manager or two circulating, and there is an elevated manager office with full view of the lounge. Seems a control room with montioring ot he status of girls, rooms services.

I doubt it is 12hrs...but dont quote me
When it comes to the beauraucracy it is all in chinese:)
price lists, bills and "rules" eh eh On the other end, who wants to stay in a sauna for more than 12 hrs...?
Either you end up in spending a fortune in services (and I do not mean manicure as nails can be chopped once! LOL) and you are also drained out at some point, or it gets boring. really boring.
At some point one really needs fresh air and natural light.
So I reckon one can arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy till the morning...more than that should require a check at the nearest pshychiatric help! LOL

if the girl connects with you. but don't expect any hanky panky. your best bet is to find a cheap hotel and tell her
Just wonder, you are not asked to pay tips for the body scrub, nor shanghai massage?
No, nothing. There were only one slight approach when I left from the locker girl: "Do you have something for me....".
I would have been surprised about asking for tips at BOSS. I never experienced that there.

Yes, it is. They had only Vietnamese girls, therefore they offered the standard BOSS massage, which costs as stand alone 998. In the package the Shanghai massage is the bonus.

what's the definition of Shangai massage there?
I keep on seeing and experiencing different ones. Once in Rio it was a plain massage..not kinky at all
the girl refused to carry on anything more. I don't know if they are monitored or as she pushed for a private meeting in my room later...:)
-
The "Shanghai massage" is typically a vanilla massage; no HR or anything "sensual". Having stated that, I have at BOSS and Windsor had quite a good HJ on occasions. It depends upon the person.
