Judgement v Sharing of information
Just like massages. Everybody knows that getting a massage on Beach Road or Walking Street will be 300 baht. Go back to Soi Buakhao and they will be 200 baht. Go a little further to where I live off 3rd Road and you will pay 150 baht. Who would get bent out of shape over someone telling them where they could get the same massage for cheaper, the way some guys get bent out of shape by someone telling them how they could fuck literally the same girl for cheaper.
I am all ears about the massage information. Note that you did not judge. You just provided information. Thank you for that. That is how I learn. But finding a massage a cheaper price based on location is far cry from the claim that you can fuck the exact same girl for less money. I question that assumption. You can always fuck any girl for less money than another girl. But I would like to see you present and example of how you can fuck the exact same girl for less money.
Most of the times, the judgment occurs because someone is doing something differently from someone else.
Couldn't agree with you more. To hell with the begrudgers. Who are these self-appointed self-styled arbiters of taste and values who while supposedly happy playing in their own corner of the sandbox feel entitled to judge others who choose to freely and enjoyably travel in a different direction. Is it possibly jealousy because of their inadequate finances or perhaps a more perverted know all control freak personality? Either way who cares, if I feel like paying 10,000 for a night out I go for it with no regrets and you know it's always been my strong impression that those who spend money freely enjoy a more fulfilled life.
In complete agreement with you Brother GerryGa. Spend your money how you like. I enjoy saving money on plane flights. I enjoy saving money on pussy. But if I want an Angus Ribeye I am going to pay what it takes to get it. And I don't care if you think red meat is bad for me and I shouldn't eat it. But if you want to tell me where I can get my Angus Ribeye of equal quality at a lesser price I am all ears.
Agree with both points- but try as we might to retain our equanimity I think we are always passing judgements on others. The problem is everyone's rating scale is calibrated differently and that can make it hard to evaluate field intelligence. For example- when I used to read the Medellin threads, there was always some guy talking about scoring a 9 in Centro for some ridiculous low price- which is a total farce- 9's don't go to Central unless they are trying to make some quick money to pay the Cartel or something. He probably scored a 6. 5 but to him; it was a 9. My 8 may be Chan Chalupa's 5, etc. Etc. So guys get huffed and puffed when bragging is made and clearly there is a disconnect from reality. We never can really know the truth, only version of it.
Agree also about the Pussy market. Market forces have a collective wisdom that's smarter than any one punter. Occasionally inefficiencies exist that can be exploited but the rule of large numbers flattens out most relative divergence.
You make my point about quality RakSopheni. That is the problem. My analogy of the Plane Ticket can only go so far. As we know were are comparing equal things. But even then no. If you have a direct flight as opposed to one that takes 4 stops and is 4 times as long. Then you have to factor in the trade off between your time and money. My point is no one else can judge the decision that I make when choosing the importance of the two. I have no problem with the people who are cheep Charlies. If I want to buy something more expensive, I figure out how to make more money (or save up) to buy it. That is not getting bent out of shape. That is real man shit!.
How much for complete full service that you described?
Speaking of judgement just take a look a this post:
Nobody tried to ridiculize anyone or be a self-appointed arbiters of taste as you said.
Read back the last posts and you'll see that Mr Sopheni said he didn't understand why one would blow up more money than what he did by going a different path than him (Gogos vs freelancers).
He got some answers as to why but nobody told him he's got it wrong the way he does it and you come out with your tyrade of self-appointed arbiters, inadequate finance, jalousy and control freak personnality.
Youre completely lost man.
The defense rests.
Question for long timers in thailand
How much do you pay for where you live? I see some have condos. I've seen some condos on YouTube for as cheap as 5,000 thai baht a month or $150 usd. If you've seen these in real life are they clean and a good cheap option? I kind of want the Rawai area of phuket but would still appreciate any advice on anywhere in thailand.
Does anyone just do years in motels, just traveling about? The very top end of my budget for housing is.
20,000 thb a month or $600 usd but I would like to cut that as low as possible while still a nice place to live. Clean and in a location with stuff to walk to is most important.
Thank you for any help.
