The article also states that according to CBP there are currently 9 booths to inspect 9,200 private vehicles and 5 lines for 17,000 pedestrians that cross per day. Astounding stats. Of course, we all know that not all these are open when we happen to cross. On Wednesday there were only 3 pedestrian lanes open at 1 p.m.
