Ecuador in context
Well, on a hunch, I'd say the number of posts is not related to the quality-of-experience you can expect in a place.
I think the Centers for Disease Control probably do the most research on this sort of thing - I was scoping out their website and came across titles like "Social and Behavioral Determinants of Sexually Transmitted Disease: Scientific and Technologic Advances, Demography and the Global Political Economy" and "Sex work in Tallinn, Estonia: The socio-spatial penetration of sex work into society" (I've never done a "socio-spatial penetration" myself, but I'm willing to give it a try). I having a feeling these folks have a very good idea of where men travel in order get laid.
Random additional thought: Stupid India. It's like they want out-shine the USA by growing up to be a better sex prison.

As Crypton busts a Sunday nut in my favorite cash-sl*t city these are my puritanical thoughts for the day.
Jelly Donut: I would say the number of posts are relevant as to where ISGers spend their eyeball time. While indicative it does not necessarily determine where money is spent or the quality of sex available, for the latter there are too many individual variables to consider. As a personal example many Thai girls make me ill while Chinese girls give me a perma-woody.
With posts one must remember there are oddities like alphabet-spasmolytic Nibu. If we eliminate his posts alone South America's totals drop over 5000 -- or 5%. All for fun, not a hardcore scientific study. Those study titles don't sound as invigorating as a good ISG report.
Enigma84: I call Peru's chicas "Inca dolls." Bolivia's Santa Cruz: scope out King Jackson's review posted in the last couple days. As I suspected, which is why I did not go there when in Bolivia earlier this year.
I'd say mainstream girls in Ecuador are of Indian / mixed appearance, resembling Peru. In this department Peru has the benefit of quality via quantity. Ecuador's advantage are the Manabi-Negritas-Columbians to spice things up -- scope out our pics on the board as examples. Columbia? I have not been yet. I'd say the chicas are of Euro-descent, very few (or no) Indians in the mix.
Closing Sunday Prayer: Oh great self, let my will be done in the sack as it is done in the Just 18 video series.
Amen.

Live report from Quito
As Crypton busts a Sunday nut in my favorite cash-sl*t city these are my puritanical thoughts for the day.
Alas, Tungīs best hopes for me were not to be. I am 2 blocks from Masajes Medellin and it is closed at 6 PM on Sunday. May be just as well.. I am a bit drained after some hectic activity in Lima... especially yesterday (I am no Tung!). Thanks to David_33 I had the mother-(lactating) daughter duo (it is sick at so many levels.. I can barely wrap my head around it). Unexpectedly, in the evening, I brought a clothes designer to my room from a bar and we fucked like bunnies until 4 AM and another round at 6 AM..before I had to go to catch a flight to Quito. She was nice enough to come to the airport. I will post a full report in the Lima board when I get back to Sex Prison USA. Thanks to EZ and Tung for posting replies promptly. Appreciate it - this is
what makes some threads on this board so great.
I will also post a report on my minimal (2 chicas in one day) in Quito after my return.
Cheers.
It's a slow night. Decided to post this for a little bit of fun.
While eating dinner I had the thought: has anyone on the board done a global ISG study and posted the results? If so someone direct me. I have tried time and again to randomly read other boards but usually get so bored of "ass-clown" posts I give up. Doing this statistical study provides a bit more focus in the effort to educate myself as to where on earth ISG mongerers spend their eyeball-time and money.
Nice analysis, Tung. Obviously, a slow night! I think India being number 19 is pure anamoly in that it is too high!! Mongering sucks there absolutely as someone else pointed out. 90% of the posts in that thread are requests for information.
Nice work though.
Cheers.

September Quito Visit
Need some info on Quito motels near the action, say 2 - 2.5 star quality, guest friendly, etc. Looking to pay in the $50 range. Thanks
-
I'm looking for some hotel info for a September Quito trip. Looking for 2 - 2.5 star quality near some of the hot spots and one that's guest friendly. Also, I think I have all the info on the casas and what to expect. Are there any places for a single guy to meet a non-pro? I've lucked out in the Dominican with a couple that I see on a regular basis. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

hotels
There are tons of options for you and none of them will cost you $50. I was paying $25 a night for a great hotel room and that was considered high.
My adivce would be look in a travel book or online for a hotel so you can have the comfort of someone picking you up at the airport etc. then look on foot when you get there. Also keep in mind you might experience a little altitude sickness so make sure you have access to an elevator for the first few days. The first hotel I stayed at had me on the fourth floor with no elevator. I was really disturbed because I was too weak to look for another hotel. Get some place comfortable for the first few days.
The action is all over but you will probably want to be in the mariscal foch area "gringolandia" It is located very close to many casas.
All of quito is kind of sketchy so be careful at night. Take cabs they are cheap.
Once you acclimate you may want to give the old centro area a try. I really enjoyed waking up to gothic catedrals. There are a handful of nice places to stay down there.
As far as GFE. Ive read a few stories on the forum but to me it wasnt as great as a DR or Lima etc. They use the dollar so things arent as desperate at least as far as I could tell. You will deal with some cunts but just avoid any effort with them. If your a night club guy there are a few places you can go and Im sure you could start something up but thats too much effort for me.
I found that most girls were happy with a $1 tip,
Anyways, just to put it in perspective, most locals don't tip anything.
Well, clearly I have been overtipping. Now I know.
On the way back from Teleferico I stopped off at VIP Paradise. It was early afternoon and there were only two chicas and one other guy. So after a short while I went across the street to Mensajes Medellin.
This place has more of a Thailand feel to it. Except you screw first and massage later and instead of choosing the girl from behind glass or a lineup, they come out one by one. The guy shouts out their names as they come out. Itīs almost impossible for me to remember them. The only reason I was able to make my selection is because an Ecuadoreano came in after me and I got a review. He obviously couldnīt do it either. Because he chose quickly and the one that he wanted was not the one that appeared. He was allowed to go back to were they sit and point.
The one I chose had a name something like Swannee. An entusiastic hard worker. And an enjoyable experience. She maintained the Asian feel by taking a call on her cell during the massage. She was shushing me and telling some poor son of a ***** that she was at work at "la officina".
Of course the Meathead hadn't given me my change so I told the girl she could have it for a tip. It didn't take her long to get it.
In the evening I headed to Gata Caliente at 557 Tomayo. The door is closed. There is a red light that flashes inside when someone approaches. If no one come to the door at first, just pace back and forth nervously as I did and eventually someone will seee the light and come down.
There were three of four girls working, none of whom interested me. I relaxed for a while and a new batch came in. They interested me even less. Maybe on another night.
I headed back to Gringolandia and Akershutz. It's right around the corner from my hostel. This time chose Arianne. No looker but a nice tight athletic body. One thing I hate about this place is the thick plastic sheets on the beds that make this horrible noise while you're going at it. It's a real turn off for me. But the girls have come through so far. And it's conveneince makes for a great fall-back position.

Random thoughts: The first time I looked at the USA sex guide was tonight to see how many posts it had -- wtf?! Guys still buy pussy in the USA?! No wonder so many are broke, in debt and bankrupt! I was surprised to see Argentina at #4. You're telling me I just left the fourth hottest pussy destination in the world?! lol. Half -- or more -- are chicas from Paraguay. What the fuck is Malaysia doing at #6?! What the hell is in the United Arab Emirates?! Piper1 must singlehandedly sustain the UAE himself, accounting for 78% of the country's GDP. Comparing the juggernauts of population China at #3 is of interest while India sucks ass at #19. What are German girls doing to hit #8?! So much for French girls and French romance. Ultimately Ecuador ranks #33 worldwide. Hmmm, Tungurahua Inc. has a lot of marketing work to do to get to #1. I like a good challenge. Bring it on mofos!
I replied to this in the ST Relations section of "Opinions".

Last day in Quito
My last day in Quito I headed to Cheers. This time the door was open and I walked up the three flights. There was some little guy shouting some kind of indecipherable nonsense into a microphone at the entrance. I got around him and found a position in the room. There were twenty some-odd guys sitting around and three girls. I wasn't feeling any love from any quarter here so I didn't stay. It was around 2:00pm. Perhaps there are more girls later.
Last time I went to Cafe Rojo my cab was stuck in traffic most of way there so this time I decided to take the Trole to the end of the line and catch a cab there. That worked. $1.02 on the meter. I mention it because I was on the Trole maybe 90 seconds when I noticed that the button to the back pocket of my pants in which I kept my wallet was unbuttoned. It was definitely buttoned before I got on. I never felt a thing. The Trole is great but be alert.
You may well ask why I was carrying a wallet in Quito. The answer is that when I asked about a safe-deposit box at my $10 a night hostel the guy opened his desk drawer and pointed. Uh, no thanks.
When I got to Cafe Rojo, Andrea was at the bar paying for a ficha. That didn't worry me at first, but the selection wasn't as good this time. And although there were plenty of guys sitting around, there wasn't that steady stream flowing up and down the stairs. I smiled at the chica next to me and got a smirk in return.
Still, a not so great day at Cafe Rojo is still pretty good. Before long I was able to snatch up Mariella. A much better looking woman than I could expect to pull without great effort under normal circumstances. I got a twenty for that. Tighter than most working girls although it was a bit hard to tell with all the lube. I wish they wouldn't do that. But still well worth the twenty.
I wasn't back at the bar 3 minutes before Andrea was there again with more ficha money. she must do alright for herself.
Decided to walk over to Sex Max. It's easy enough to find with it's big garrish sign out front that says 329 on it. There are two doors. The second one pushed open and I walked in. There was only one other guy there and three girls. One was a dyed blonde Columbiana with braces. Well that looks interesting. I was tired and my spanish is weak. I offered her thirty dollars instead of thirteen. She said I could have two. After a little more confusion she ended up quoting me $20 for one. $15 for her and five for the house. Well, it's only a few bucks more than she would have gotten with a tip anyway. Turned out to be worth it. I don't think she gets many gringos. She was eager to please. And her constant giggling through her braces, I'm almost ashamed to say, was doing something for me. Even though up close she did have a little cellulite and looked her stated age of 24. My last session in Quito was not disappointing. I'm sure a sharper bargainer could get closer to the "List" price of $13.
Although I came to Quito looking for the $7 value plays, I spent most of my time in the $20 clubs. I don't know, but my impression of the cheaper casas is that it's a lottery. Could be great, could be not so great. I think if you go in with great expectations, as I did, you are bound to be disappointed. I found that the $15-20 clubs were a little more comfortable for a first timer. And I have $10 for a little comfort. I think there was only one time I went into one and saw absolutely nothing that appealed to me. Some girls were better than others but none that I can recall in Quito were lame. I don't think I ever felt ripped off.
In seven days, I went to sixteen places on the list. I would rank my top three as:
1) Cafe Rojo
2) Masajes Medellin
3) Guajira
I hope I get a chance to return before long and put up a completely different three.

Quito Report
Visited Quito for the first time back in mid-May (just now getting around to posted a report). I am new to the fuckclub scene in S. America so I'll offer my impressions to any other first-timers out there.
The first place I visited was Guijera because the location was more convenient than Cafe Rojo (FYI. Getting out to Cafe Rojo from downtown during rush hour is not easy). This place is just a normal looking house. At first I thought the address was wrong but I asked the security guy out front and he confirmed it was the right place.
I rang the buzzer and a pretty decent woman answered the door and asked if I wanted a drink. The first thing you should be prepared for is that the setup is nothing like a club, or strip club. The place is just like a real house. You walk back into a small living room where there are some couches and bar. There were probably 10 girls just sitting around with maybe 5 guys. Not many people were talking. Everyone was just sitting there, and since it's so small, there's no blending in. Everyone stares at you when you walk in. It can be a little weird if you're not ready for it.
There were two fairly attractive girls. Since there weren't many guys, it was easy to get their attention. I chose one, paid her $20, and we went upstairs. The experience was okay, no GFE experience though, but pretty decent.
Next stop was Cafe Rojo. It was later on a Fri night by the time I got there so the place was really busy. This setup is much different than Guijera. When you walk in it looks like a open bar with a dance floor in the middle with loung couches around the perimeter. There were about 6 girls lined up at one end of the bar with other girls mingling with guys. At one point two girls put on a strip show in the middle of the dance floor (again it's not set up anything like a strip club so there's no stage, etc.) Anyway, with all the guys around it took me awhile to find a girl I was interested in, but I found one, paid her $20, and we went back to the room. It was a good experience. Again so GFE experience, but definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend this place.
Happy hunting!
Need some info on Quito motels near the action, say 2 - 2.5 star quality, guest friendly, etc. Looking to pay in the $50 range. Thanks
$50 is a lot of money in quito. Rent a hotel for 1 or 2 nights and take a walk once you get there.
I stayed in a hostel near Payaya.net cafe (Gringolandia) that was $8. Was like a studio apartment. Hot water, cable and very comfortable. I had never considered a hostel before this trip..buit I looked at it and it was nice. Looks like they used to be apartments. The hostel I stayed at is on the opposite side of the street as papaya.net just before the next block. Just walk out the cafe and keep walking towards the next block. There's a sign in front that says it's a hostel. It's a 4 story building (one of the tallest on the block). There's a $8 steak house on the other side of the street. It's right on the main drag of all the action. You're literally a block or two from 99% of the major discos, bars and restaurants there.
Hope this helps.
Though I had posted this but I don't see it.
Checked out Guajira. It is a large, I think yellow house, just south of Francisco de Orellana on Diego de Almagro. When you ascend the front stairs it activates a some kind of bell and then someone opens the door. You're immediately asked what you would like to drink. I sat down and before long I was acosted by a large scary blond woman who said she was from Cali. I was getting weary of fighting off her advances and made an excuse to walk around. Grabbed a girl named Julie. Her giggling and jabbering with her friends just before we went up was a little disconcerting but once in the room she was a real sweetie. Decent GFE until I tried to touch her pussy. She said I couldn't unless my hands were clean. I guess I didn't pass the smell test because I was told there would be an extra charge for that. But it was enjoyable and she was charming.
I did Julie 3-4 times. Once alone and then used her for an orgy girl. She's good at directing the girls as to your preferences once she's used to you. She can be a bit moody. If it wasn't for this, she would be a good GFE prospect.

I'm visiting friends in Quito this summer and know next to no Spanish. I wasn't intending to do any pay for play but my buddy's boyfriend will be my guide and I'm wondering how bad would communication be for us non-Spanish speakers to try this places?

pick up a phrase book and study up a little before you come. It will help with taxis and buses, things like that. Its still hard for me even though I've been here over a year, i understand more than I speak spanish, and colombian girls for some reason dont understand me hardly at all. Sometimes I run into coastal people who speak very fast and I can't understand them either. Don't expect to run into many working girls that speak english other than a few phrases, but they all seem to understand fucky fucky lol.
You could check the main webpage here, theres a spanish phrase guide. Havent looked at it, but I imagine it'll help with the basic questions and phrases.
One thing I whole-heartedly recommend learning is Cuanto Cuesta? how much, ask this of everyone and anyone you plan on doing a business transaction with, even for the smallest thing. People here like to bargain, and theres what I call a "gringo tax" here that they'll rip you off with. Not very many places have prices listed. In gringolandia, they'll have them listed more there, but you pay more also. My general rule of bargaining is whatever they ask for up front, i cut that price by 50% in the return offer, then work out a middle ground, unless they [CodeWord140] me off, then I go 25%. Or I will flat out tell them no more than $xx amount, and if they dont go for it, I leave. Especially with taxi's at night, since I look like a gringo.
Hope that helps.
