Great reports man, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading them. Treating folks with respect goes a long way and you seem to have mastered the art of making people feel good. Folks need to understand that in DR, you will get hustled and hassled. Its up to you to keep it a minimum, but these folks are trying to survive and earn a living.

I saw this on DR1. I'm not a big fan of Pasions, but interested in what happen.

Last night I was driving past La Passion and I saw about a dozen or so girls in front on the road and all the doors were closed. I assumed that this was the latest police raid as the police were out in force last night. I found out later that the girls all walked out because the owner was mis-treating them. Will be interesting to see how many girls will be in there tonight, but maybe this is a wake up call for the owner showing that he can't just do what he wants with the girls. A lot of lost revenue for a Friday night. I know that CMP was very busy last night!"

He'll fire every one of them and have replacements the following day. I'm not saying whether or not he treats them well or not because I really don't know. What I do know is that he has a waiting list of girls that want to work there a mile long. Peter is german, I have had a lot of experience in dealing with german business owners and they all run their businesses with an iron fist, it is the way their culture is. It is their way or the highway and Passions is no different.

(Apart from "extraction" economies like Canada and Australia). I worked in Germany for a while. I wouldn't say they worked harder or more intelligently, but they sure all took their work seriously from the CEO down to the toliet cleaner. The diametrical opposite to the Dominican attitude (and mine!).

But the rules are the rules and if the girls break them they get fined or fired, plain and simple. The problem is Dominicans in general can't follow rules or any kind of specific instruction, ask anyone that has employed one.

Any of you guys have issues with TSA or Border Patrol? Everytime I come back to the states I get the John Gotti treatment in Miami, New Jersey.

They walked out because in 1 of the room a fan caught fire so the business was evacuated.

Try to play around and enjoy being at work too much, and they don't like to be as serious as the German's.
