hi guys,
i read some posts and it looks like the sosua situation is getting worse and worse.
is sosua still a good destination to have fun with latin and black girls?
do you think it's a good plan to stay in cabarete (for [CodeWord118]) and then going to sosua to have fun in the evening?
have a good day, thanks!
i read some posts and it looks like the sosua situation is getting worse and worse.
i am frequently reading reports that guys are having the time of their lives. several frequent visitors have reported that their most recent trip was their best ever.
is sosúa still a good destination to have fun with latin and black girls?
to answer that question you need to consider where you live and how cheap and easy it is to get there. whether you are on a budget. whether you can speak spanish. if you live on the western seaboard or in australia sosua may not be that cost effective. if cost is not an issue then there are better places to go, both within the dr and elsewhere. if you speak fluent spanish, are younger, can dance latin, and are better-looking you might do well picking up non-pros and semi-pros in other more sophisticated cities.
if you live in the east of the us, are just an average guy on a budget, sosúa is still probably the most cost-effective place to get laid.
do you think it's a good plan to stay in cabarete (for [CodeWord118]) and then going to sosúa to have fun in the evening?
i would have thought it would make more sense to stay near to where you are going to pick up your chicas. cheaper and saves time. also if you take a chica back to cabarete from sosúa you will be more committed to her. if in sosúa and she is a dud you can chuck her out and find another.

thank you for your quick answers charles pooter and tomjackin! i see the point concerning the fact to stay more in sosua than in cabarete. from what i could read, i'm sure to find a guest friendly hotel in sosua whereas it's harder in cabarete (except if you tip the security guard and even.). the only thing is that i'd like to go there not just to monger. i mean i would prefer doing [CodeWord118] and then monger. and i know that cabarete is a very cool destination for sports and has a great beach (i've been there twice but not to monger a few years ago). however, i'm a bit on budget so that's maybe not the best solution.
do you know how much is a one person ride by cab between sosua and cabarete?
there are things i'm not sure of:
- concerning the new garden for example, i read something like there are "new garden girls". does it mean that there are girls inside the hotel (at the bar)? how does it work?
- i read the same type of things for some bars like "la passion". so does this bar has rooms?
- for each what's the difference of price between taking a girl for a short term or a night?
- do all the girls we can meet in a bar are "from" the concerning bar and consequently it's pricier to get her in your new garden room for example?
thanks guys.
from what i could read, i'm sure to find a guest friendly hotel in sosua whereas it's harder in cabarete (except if you tip the security guard and even.)
there are dozens of chica-friendly hotels in sosúa, just one or two in cabarete, so you are more likely to find what you want in the former town.
the only thing is that i'd like to go there not just to monger. i mean i would prefer doing [CodeWord118] and then monger. and i know that cabarete is a very cool destination for sports and has a great beach (i've been there twice but not to monger a few years ago). however, i'm a bit on budget so that's maybe not the best solution.
sorry, maybe i am being dumb but i cannot follow your logic here. it takes the same amount of time and cash to travel from cabarete to sosúa for sex at night as it does to travel the other direction in the daytime for [CodeWord117]. do you mean you want to stay in cabarete so that you can usually socialize with the [CodeWord117] crowd in the evenings and only spend the occasional evening / night with a chica? in that case i can see why you would want to stay in cabarete. otherwise not.
do you know how much is a one person ride by cab between sosua and cabarete?
shared public taxi (called "carrito publico") about 35 pesos. less than a dollar. private taxi i am guessing us$15 to 20? about 15 minute ride.
- concerning the new garden for example, i read something like there are "new garden girls". does it mean that there are girls inside the hotel (at the bar)? how does it work?

- do all the girls we can meet in a bar are "from" the concerning bar and consequently it's pricier to get her in your new garden room for example?
new garden hotel allows self-employed and independent putas to hang about on its premises. the hotel does not charge them or take a cut. i guess they are supposed to buy the odd drink at the bar, though? most of them are old slags, with the occasional fresher talent. don't plan your holiday round them!
passions is a bar / brothel with a generally good selection of chicas (no haitianas though, so they won't see any of my money!). they have rooms for one hour's sex but not for longer stays.
tln (todo la noche) usually works out about double short-time. more important is what the price is and what you get for your money.
don't really understand your last question. bars that employ chicas who fuck charge a "salida" (=barfine = takeaway charge) if you want to take a chica back to your hotel. you then agree with the chica what you are going to pay her. that is the system all over the dominican republic but is not much used in sosúa. in sosúa the bar staff will usually arrange to meet you when off shift (and the bar owners are not involved) or (as at passions) you pay a price to the bar owner which includes the chica's fee.
i would recommend if you decide to stay in sosúa you go to rocky's bar late mornings for breakfast and try to link up with some reliable and knowledgable mongers. ask rick, the owner, to introduce you. the guys will be happy to show you the ropes and do their best to see you aren't scammed.
if you stay in cabarete, go to (if you are not already staying there) the kite beach hotel. it is most definitely not a monger hotel so behave and speak discreetly but the owner jim is a totally nice guy who can fix you up with your [CodeWord117] needs and put you in touch with guys who can advise you about your other needs.

finally, if i undertand your point, a good idea is to take a girl from one of the sosua bars more than from a hotel like the new garden. but are there some street workers (independant likes)?
thanks charles.

Thanks guys.
La Passion has onsite rooms. 1 hour with a girl is going to cost you 2500 pesos.

On the webpage click on menu to see the price structure for take out.

Where do the girls hang out at new garden? The bar? Do they let them walk freely around the hotel? I was thinking of staying there when I visit in nov. But I don't want to stay at a place where the girls can just freely roam the hotel for security purposes. Does anyone have any place where I can rent a 2 bedroom apartment close to everything? I'm still deciding where to stay but I want to stay at a place that is definately chica friendly
you want to say that haitianas are better than dominicanas?
lol. let's not go down that road. my fault for mentioning it. just a matter of personal taste.
so tln is about 3000p? it looks so cheap!
i have been coming here for six years and have now lived here permanently for two. i have never paid more than 2500 pesos for tln and usually pay 1500 plus breakfast and maybe a propina if everything was ok. if i thought sex was going to cost me 3000 pesos i couldn't get a hard on! the thing is the nicer girls (semi-putas) are usually cheaper than the hardcore full-time putas.
i'm not a native speaker that's why i'm maybe not very clear. and what do you mean by "when off shift"? how much is the average fee you pay in more for that?
don't worry, there are only a handful of native speakers here. most of the posters are american.
by "off-shift" i mean you arrange to meet them outside their working hours. a few bars, like cuba libre bar, have the usual dominican arrangement where you pay a salida to take a chica out during her working hours. how much depends on the status of the bar, running from 200 pesos in a local dive to 1500 pesos at cristal in puerto plata. this is on top of whatever you agree to pay the chica.
at passions you pay the whole amount up front so you don't need to negotiate with the chica. the bar owner pays the chica her cut later.
how much is for a short term in there (passions)?
they have a printed menu like a restaurant menu listing the charges for different services on-site and for taking out a chica at various times. i think the cheapest is 1600 for massage plus bj and 2500 for full service (no anal) but regular patrons may correct me.
so the one or two cabarete guest friendly hotels are the ocean dream and maybe this one?.
no! no! no!
all hotels are or should be "guest friendly" (though i had a few experiences to the contrary in leningrad). i presume you mean "chica friendly" (and even that is a euphemism for "puta friendly"). kite beach is not. it is a very conservative place. but the owner is very helpful and a good friend to many mongers. just be discreet. don't know anything about ocean dream.
finally, if i undertand your point, a good idea is to take a girl from one of the sosúa bars more than from a hotel like the new garden. but are there some street workers (independent likes)?
most street workers in sosúa were the pits. many were scam artists or pickpockets. successive police actions have thinned them out and i would avoid what is left.
i understand you will be watersporting during the day? apart from passions most sosúa night-life gets going around 9. 00pm and really gets going about 11. 00pm. best place to pick up chicas is in the two discos, clasico and velero. but you will see many others hanging around nearby bars. i think new garden is the only hotel that allows putas to hook on the premises? someone please correct me if i am wrong.
your best bet is to meet up with some regular mongers to show you the ropes otherwise you could lose a lot of time and money. remember most of the scum of the island finds its way to sosúa and dominican girls are naturally talented at playing on your emotions and sympathies and extracting money from newbies. as someone brilliantly observed here recently, if their lips are moving they are either sucking your cock or telling lies.

Thank you for the indication Berthold about the web site menu.
Charles you think that La Passion is not worth value? I saw the menu it's about 90$ max a TLN, it seems not so high.

Whats the difference if she fucked and sucked all last night and you were the first customer on her starting shift the next day or if she fucked and sucked all during her shift and then you took her home that evening. Its just semantics and part of the vicious cycle bro. Je je LOL But maybe mentally you might look at it differently.
IAlvsg. I would save your money and do some hunting and pick and choose as you like. UNLESS you like everything handed to you on a platter. Isn't the hunt and negotiating half the fun?
