Was watching the Sunday news about the current fights on HK streets. Lo and behold, a tall young western guys crosses a street in the background, holding hands with a SYT half his size.
Flying in and have 22 HR layover, 10 to 15 hrs to play, where can I get a quickie?
I am travelling to Hong Kong & China from 9 days from 29th. Will be in hk for the weekend before I move to China Shenzhen for 3 days. I am attending an exhibition at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. I have to book a hotel still, Tickets done. Basically I am in HK from 29th to 2nd any help on girls in call to hotel or massage parlors or any kind of help to places seniors recommend will be gr8 ly appreciated. Please Pm me for the same.

10/15 hrs is not a quickie. Question is whether you want one or several. If you do not want a hotel, you can check your luggage in and travel light and sleep in ST hotels. Problem is security with your travel documents. Look at the post below. IMHO, I would spend on a cheap hotel to keep the luggage and to get some good sleep; without worrying about whether the person next to you is a psycho.
Kar2692. If I were you, I would base out of a Wanchai hotel and use the subway to avoid the current unrest. Then you can unwind close to your hotel and not have to worry about transport, assuming you are ambulatory. Game is plenty and easy around the area.
There are hotels attached to the couple convention centers but they are $$$$. Wanchai has cheaper options; look 2 post down.

I had a short layover in HK several years ago and was able to get into town, have a nice session at 37 Dundas, then get back to the airport in time to take my next flight with no problems, thanks to the Airport Express,
Just curious. Only one post? Haven't you ever mongered at the place that you're flying into Hong Kong from, or at the place you're flying to? Why haven't you posted about your experiences before now? Or are you a virgin, planning to pop your cherry here in HK?
At the very least, you should post a decent field report about your Hong Kong experiences. And Boarer is correct, 10 to 15 hours is not a quickie. RTFF to discover your many options!

Thanks.[/QUOTE]My suggestion is wait till you get to Shenzhen. Plenty of nice looking girls half the price there. HK is tough. You can hang around wanchai bars and hope to get lucky with some domestics. Domestic workers from other countries give you a better service. But most of them are older, fatter.
There are plenty of hotels for any price structure. Transportation is easy with subways.

We the protests happening currently, can anyone give me a suggestion of where to stay and if I should avoid Wan Chai?
I will be needing to get to and from the convention and exhibition centre all week and some bar / clubs at night.
Any help would be great.

My own visit is fast approaching and I'm looking forward to visiting the usual haunts. Can someone with local knowledge / experiences confirm all is well and there is no problem? Otherwise "room service" will be on the cards.
Your hotel is okay. The protests are happening by the police station on Arsenal Street which is the next block west (ie heading towards Central) after Fenwick street on Lockhart Road. Its also on Gloucester Road too.
Where you are at is safe, no worries and you can comfortably use the overhead bridge over O'Brien road to go to the Convention Centre.
