Hotel suggestion away from protest
I will be in HK on 30th and usually stay at the Metropark Wan Chai.
We the protests happening currently, can anyone give me a suggestion of where to stay and if I should avoid Wan Chai?
I will be needing to get to and from the convention and exhibition centre all week and some bar / clubs at night.
Any help would be great.
Wan Chai during the protests.

[/QUOTE]Surely you don't need to avoid Wan Chai?
My own visit is fast approaching and I'm looking forward to visiting the usual haunts. Can someone with local knowledge / experiences confirm all is well and there is no problem? Otherwise "room service" will be on the cards.
