I had an opportunity to visit Artemis this weekend, after a longer spell of absence. Last year I felt the complaints of many might in fact be warranted: a club that had settled into its routines, and lost its potential to surprise.
But this time I had a great evening, full of unexpected encounters, so I didn't even make it to rooms with longtime favorites like Meggie (Romania) or Nicole (Czech Republic), who looked gorgeous as always.
It may have been coincidence but I met two girls who had switched from GoldenTime Brggen just recently. Both were amazing in terms of service and personality. As usual I don't like to go into details. Katja (Ukraine) and Chantal (Bulgaria). Chantal is one of the most attractive girls in the current lineup.
I also had a great room with South African Desiree, who claimed she is only dropping in every once in awhile.
And I met Xenia from Romania, who has her own policy in terms of service. She is beautiful and smart, and a real treat, if you accept her limits.
In general I found the atmosphere to be alive and enticing. One of the longtime Artemis stars had her birthday, girls were giving her hugs and kisses, their sympathy appeared to be genuine. Sure, there are also many girls who cater to other tastes than to a preference for young and slim and model type, but I found the mix to be in good balance. Business was apparently good, while the wait for rooms was minimal for most of the evening (I left at midnight).
Artemis would certainly be a much better place with a central nonsmoking area, but I have a feeling the thriving bar area is crucial for the success of the whole establishment. And most girls do smoke, so this is what we have to concede to them. It is their working environment in the first place, even if that would make a non smoking policy in the main rooms even more urgent, in fact.
