Any rate, or Christmas dinner?
Must be the Christmas Cut. Or some other wonderful Pinoy logic being applied to the rates. I have never tried to negotiate a rate or argue about the rate with an exchange chap, because most often the differential between a bank rate and a exchange shop rate is reasonable & understandable. But when it starts looking like more than 1 Peso, has anyone tried to question this?
I have not picked up any news of a massive currency fluctuation anywhere.
The official rate and the rate you get are normally two different things, in the real world. The Official doesn't give you the rate, the money changer does, LOL. If a differential of one pesos or more, then someone is making money. Watch for sleight of hand, if the rate is too good. Any rate, I have to go and eat my Christmas dinner. Ooorooo!
12,000 - No but 4 figure, Yes
This emerges! How many on this forum can claim a 5 figure tally? Disclaimer. No disrespect to anyone.

I wish I had instead of having girlfriends. I can only claim 2,000 and counting. I think most long term mongers can claim 4 figures.
