In my experience, I've gotten better extras with lesser damages with package. Main reasons being, the girls know you're a regular and they want to keep you so. Nobody would want to let go of regular pocket money. Also the rapport really helps to loosen things up. The reception staff also tries to please you so you renew the membership.

But then again, you have to weigh things out and know where to take membership and where not to. There are definitely places where they don't give shit either way.
