True, yes, I was told by an escort who I've seen in both Rio and Sao Paulo that it is all locals in SP. I saw her first in SP in 2017 and then again in Rio in 2018 and her English had improved out of sight from moving to Rio. She said it's because in SP she really had no English speaking clients so didn't speak English, while in Rio had many English speaking clients so she spoke it often and her English was better. So understand what you are saying. My frustration with Athena was more because I thought she could have made the effort to use the translator herself. I try to negotiate the price if I know from gpguia or elsewhere her normal quote. Sometimes I say I know that's not the normal rate and ask for 90 minutes at that rate. Many times that's agreeable. Kind of a win, win. She makes a bit more money and I can enjoy the moment longer.

What are good places to go on Sunday and Monday nights in Sao Paulo?

I know that Tangara, Brooklin, and Miruna (and I think also Ceci and Yankin) are open during the day. From prior reports, it sounds like Casaro is pretty quiet on Sunday. Is that the best option for Sunday night?

And on Monday, all of the boates are open, but what is the scene like? Are Scandallo and Casaro still the best options on Monday night? What about Espao Vergueiro?

I haven't been there for more than a decade, so I can't give you an accurate scene of these two places. My piece of cake are the pros and semi-pros.

As mentioned before, Brazilians go out in groups and unless you know some local friend who can introduce you in one of those groups you won´t do any great progress in getting laid with a Brasileira.

But if you are not a Portuguese advanced speaker and know the local slangs, you better stick with a garota de programa. It´s cheaper, faster and more satisfying.

One alternative is to go to the roof of Hotel Unique, there you will find some nice pros and semi-pros that speak English.

Some awkward guys think that buying drinks and waiving an American passport is going to impress Brazilian girls. If that is working, chances you have wound up with a pro or semi-pro. As a general rule anywhere around the globe, if a girl speaks English she will be curious in Americans. If you are speaking to a buddy or a bartender who knows some English, you might look around to see which girls listened in and reacted. Don't automatically dismiss the Brazilian guys who speak English. Brazilian guys enjoy hooking up their fellow planetary brothers.

It's not easy, but hooking up with "civilian" girls can be done. I would also recommend creating a work backstory that brings you down to Brazil and allows you to tack on vacation days. You don't want to give off the vibe that you are hunting.

There are several reasons for the different level of activity at TG and Yankin but honestly I think it has nothing to do with your observations at all. Furthermore how can you possibly characterize the ladies that work in either place based on such scanty data?

TG is busy because its physically large and has a huge ever changing lineup, its easy to get to, and it has a huge rep. TG is really an outlier. It has everything to do with its physical setup, its aggressive management and recruitment, its word of mouth strength and its pricing.

Yankin is like most of the other small clinicas that are not TG.

Admittedly, there are some girls that cannot take the high volume activity in TG, and some that thrive in it. I would also say you need language skills. I tried to order a an after-dinner Bailey's with ice. The waiter didn't understand ice. The group sitting next to me knew some English and tried to help but didn't know the word "ice" either. Finally I pulled out my Portuguese-English dictionary and got to the word "helado" if I remember correctly. One of the guys from the table goes, "That was a big effort to find the word 'ice'. " Then their whole table was cracking up laughing. People are friendly there but I don't think it is an old guy's scene. The place was rockin' though.
