My point is I feel the USA should honor the vaccine card instead of having to jump thru hoops with all these tests.
I think if the USA wants heard immunity then a small incentive like giving the Vaccine card a little weight would make some people take the vaccine.
To tell the truth the only reason I took the shots was in the hope it would help me to travel. When I went to Ecuador I was able to get in the country with my card.

If you like pure quantity, talent, etc. Santa fe is amazing. Not to mention the modern apartments just 5-6 blocks away with hot water, washer dryer, gym, etc.

All I know is that I have been to 9 countries multiple times since this thing started and have come into close contact with tens of thousands of people and have not gotten sick. Others are afraid to leave the house unless they get a "jab". At this point I see no reason to shoot myself up with some newly created vaccine because it is being said that I should or need it when I have been fine without it.

They were surprised I stayed there. I find Colombia very classist....I would walk around at 1030pm thru centro with a spliff, dressed down, and feel fine. mde centro and tj are prettty much the same imo if you dont look like a mark

Use your own judgment and do what you are comfortable with.
My novia has told me that things are getting worse in the south. They have now resorted to destroying the traffic lights and have created total chaos and much of the south is cut off to travel, With the traffic lights out and half of the TransMilenio out of commission its a nightmare for many who live south of a certain point. These are not the common working people doing these riots. She has told me it is suspected that many are anarchists' from the likes of FARC and are paying hundreds of the displaced Venezuelans to do as much destruction to the country in an effort to take down the system of government in Colombia. If that's true, I don't see Bogota or any of the large cities getting back to normal anytime soon. One bright note, there is a March of the law abiding citizens today called the 'March of silence' in hopes of stopping the violence outnumbering the anarchists. Let's hope this beautiful country and the vast majority of Colombians can overcome this threat.
Where did you stay in Bogotá and how does the service in Sante Fe compare to MDE Centro, I ask that mainly because from the Bogota reports I get the impression of a knock on the dorr after 20 minutes which seems to happen in all short time rooms there which doesn't normally happen in MDE.
