I am renting two apartments in Manila through roomarama. I was not worried till I read someone saying they got ripped of renting a condo.

Does anyone have a comment on renting a apartment in Manila? I in renting one in Quezon City for my business dealings and one in Makita for a week of Vacation.

Well the post you refering to is my pretrip Manila report I guess. As it turned out, if you read my posttrip report, I just gave the scammers (age, looks) some pisos (between 200 - 500php I don't mention any figures but I am sure I did not give them any blue 1000 bills). The reason for giving scammers some compensation seems odd to me sitting back in safe Norway thinking about it. I guess I just wanted to have an easy exit and don't have someone (if they have some co workers nearby) hurting me when I exit the mall (maby a bit paranoide but this I have been adviced to do from people knowing Manila in and out) Except from the 2 realy poor girls which I did a sharity run with as I felt by heart I should, I did not pay the last 4 anything (I fucked 2 of them). They refused me to cover anything (litterarly) except wine and dine but that I do back in Norway as well so fine by me. So if they were freelancers they did not get much business from me, hehe. 2 of them(not fuck) I want to meet again as they were stunners..

So I guess it did not turn out so bad after all. Atleast I did not ruine the pricelevels in Phils in general I think. But your point is taken and in general I agree with you for ST prices..

I thought after I had reflected on what I said in my post that perhaps IFRp was being unintentionally ambiguous (even though you said it was ambigious lol). In fact, I interpreted his usage to mean that most of the dating site women were freelance seekers of remuneration, and this might well be a narrow (and erroneous view).
