Where to Stay.

I tried Airbnb and found it frustrating. There are lots of hotels and I guess you just have to ask each one in person. Are 4 star hotels much more likely to let a normal looking lady in as opposed to 5 star hotels? Hotwire seems to have some great deals -- 5 star hotels for $29 a night. Any women coming to my room will be relatively middle class types but you never know.

Is not a great beach and the girls, etc. Are more expensive then the rest. They say theIsla de Barú is nice. I like to Scuba so I usually vacation in SAI or Providencia.

Girls in hotels has got a lot less strick with the hotels starving for clients. I'm not saying Hot pants and platforms from SF is ok but dressed normal should be no problem.

I know there could be lots of valuable intel here, but what are the best suggestions for a noob in Bogota especially these crazy days? Airbnbs / Hotels? Area? Is Sante Fe the preferrd area since closed to the action / street walkers? Not going to sight seeing or anything touristic. Just to have a nightlife and dating / escorting. Any intel is appreciated.

I am planning to go to Bogota at the last week of August. Mongering in Chicago or US in general is getting expensive. This will be my first time going outside of the freedom land. I am booking an airbnb in the northern area; north of calle 100. I am planning on using SA and Bumble and agencies during my trip. And if I feel adventures I might visit few masajes.

My question is, is it better to bring $1,000 worth of COP with me or should I use ATM to get the cash daily?

But as we are still not back to normal its too early to try to update everything.

Even though I had my shots I am still home playing it safe.

At least I can mark them as closed. Maybe they will reopen at some time.

I have been putting dates on each one when someone posts about the places to make it easier to know that's what.

But I am looking for a good value place with no issues with bringing girls near Santa Fe (walking distance) for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

I live in Medellin but know Bogota pretty well.
