Walked across the street to see if any action in the bar at Nevsky Palace - Zero. Against all poor reports for Magrib decided to go there to see if anything to be had - left at 1AM "empty handed". I guess the lack of the language to find the various Salons like "Photomodeli" and others sure is the problem. If all else fails, try the taxi drivers in front of Magrib. They definitely know where all the salons are. They'll charge a bit for the service of taking you to a salon, but at least you won't go home alone...:)

Also, the English language newspapers which can be found in any hotel lobby will contain contact numbers of escort services that have English operators.

The language barrier filters out a lot of potential English-speakers, the sort who will pay top dollar in Night Flight without flinching.
