That's the problem with BSD's like you coming over to China - you read and hear about what all goes on here and think that this is a wide open playground for sex; all you need to do is throw your $$$ around and there are gonna be takers begging to get some of it. Well, the reality is that prostitution is still very much illegal here, and the government IS taking steps right now to curtail some of the more outlandish going-ons here - as evidenced by the latest crack downs on both venues as well as activities - even at what one would think as being private premises.
This is NOT Thailand, PI, or some other sex destinations where the sex business is only techinically illegal - but the laws are very rarely applied for economic considerations. China is now rich and getting richer - and the government is very rapidly getting fed up with Foreign sex mongers washing up on their shores, thinking that this is a place where anything goes just as long as they shower their almighty $$ around.
Fine by me if you want to act recklessly, and announce your intentions for one and all to see. Hey, nothing better than a sucker coming over and telling everybody that he's coming - and "...not suggesting you have to do it in secret or have something to hide possibly (so get ready to fleece me!!)....." Yup, do it all in the open and get ready to be fleeced.
And like I said, more power to you - and may your China visit in 09 be a roaring success.
And before you get all upset again and come back on with both gun barrels blazing away - well, here goes - my apologies!! OK?

I personally find Vietnam to be much more strict on the sex biz than China. I have heard some nasty stories from Vietnam regarding law enforcement there. I have had fun there but it was much more on the down low than here. I agree with you on Thailand and PI plus would add Singapore.

Have already revised my post and omitted Vietnam and Cambodia - for when I think about it, I DID have a hard time last time I was in Ho Chi Minh city.
I had to resort to doing a gal that was a recommendation (sister!!) of a massage gal in Macau that I was doing - for a very inflated price. That was after I saw all the notices about "prostitution illegal" and "visitors to guest rooms not allowed after 9 pm" and such others plastered all over the Riverside Rennaisance hotel where I was staying at.
This gal was a part timer and got herself up to my room within 10 minutes with no drama at all - which to me was a bit amazing as all those notices sort of freaked me out (That's what I get for NOT RTFF'ing the threads before I got there!!)

Respect to your long-standing presence here. I did not intend to attack you. I just found it a bit awkward that while everyone talked openly about massage parlor visits you suddenly related my intentions to police and what have you. Corner of Jinling Road and Guangxi Road. Entrance on Guangxi Road. Two attendants at street level. I took elevator to 7th floor with attendant beside me all the way, talking on his phone. He walked me down three flights of stairs. Nothing that we would be interested in was shown or offered. Maybe you would need an invite. High class furnishings. Attendant walked me back to the street.
Located at the corner of Jinling Road and Guangxi Road in Puxi. Entrance door on Guangxi Road with two attendants. Walked in, went to the elevator, punched 7. One of the attendants was at my side, talking on the phone. On reaching the 7th floor discovered plush surroundings. Asked if they had any entertainment. Didn't see anything we would interested in on the 7th or the 6th or the 5th floor. Attendant on the phone beside me all the way. Walked back to the elevators and the street and thanked the attendant. Not much in China is what it appears to be. Maybe with a local and an invite something may be available here. Looked classy enough.

the precise address is: wulumuqi bei lu 209, 5th floor. it's located at the northeast corner of wulumuqi bei lu and nanjing xi lu. if i remember correctly, the sign just says "sauna" in big neon letters. you go through the door on the first floor and you take the elevators on the right directly to the 5th floor where the magic happens.
