i agree, that a large wallet will ease access into many (most?) asses, provided it contains cash and not just pictures of the wife and kids.

i was mostly joking with my previous comment, but i've noticed a few amazing things with local girls since my first sojourn in thailand in 1999.

your mileage may vary, but according to my own experience, when a local girl is really reluctant to do something, she won't do it even with a reasonable incentive (she might do it if you are ready to spend indecent amounts of cash for the privilege, but it's not something that i would do usually in this country).

Today morning when I walked down from Soi 4 to my Hotel I saw that Sukhumvit is blocked at Nana / Soi 3 / Sukhumvit corner. But only the one track. First I thought thats the red shirts. They expanded their road-blocking from Chitlom to ploenchit, recently. But, the road blocking had an other reason.
At the construction site next to Miami Hotel (Soi 11/1 or Soi 13?) a crane collapsed. Luckly the crane felt not onto the Skytrain track. That would have made a mayor damage. The crane just felt on the Miami Hotel and damaged the higher floors. There were already a mobile crane to secure and dismount the broken crane.
I guess the have overload and deblocked the security switch, otherwise I do not understand why the crane collapsed, since there were no earthquake, nor heavy wind.

Ok, tell us more about a and c. Most specifically, how do you deal with the fact that a are not supposed to fraternize with the guests?

I will be getting in to Bangkok late one night next week and leaving early in the morning for PP.

I mean, Yes, Thais are Racist, that is a fact, maybe even more so with darker skinned guys but NOT in P4P. they couldn't care less what color you are as long as you agree to pay them what they want.

They have to!!! their job is to please the customers when on duty. What happens outside the hotel is not the management's business, unless of course it ends up affecting the business.

As for BTS Ladies, it's not that hard, really. All you need is a map and a smile.

I've had a few pickups on the bts that led to sex also. I don't think its a very good place to pickup, but it can be done. I found that the girls were easier to approach when the BTS first opened up years ago. Now days it's totally different!

Either before or after work. Definitely easy to get phone numbers.

Assume we are talking about freebies, while not exactly or always free some can B. I've had few I've paid and few I've not paid cash (but meals). We all end up paying one way or another usually. Actually I'm planning a Thailand trip on end of June.

I'm not scared of the red shirts because as long they don't block the airport or public transportation it might be ok.

But I wonder how is the situation around Nana Plaza or around Soy Cowboy.

Are the places almost empty? No tourists or no girls or both?

Is it still possible to go to discos and pubs with life music? For example last year I enjoyed a lot in a pub near nana plaza, they hat every day live music. It was crowded even on July, but if it's now everywhere almost empty.

Nothing stranger than westeners complaining about not being able to get a tan, just the opposite.

I don't find is strange that their opinion about themselves can spill over to customer preferences. To me it is not a race issue. It is an plainly an issue about skin color. Some girls accidentaly get pregnant. May be in the back of their minds.

I can't see how it is an issue at all. If I had their job, I'd like to be able to pick my clients without being called names.
