I simply ask for viber or what's app number, if I don't then I'll move on the Skype or FB. On a serious note, this is another reason that I'm upfront with the girls. There is nothing to get jealous about because nothing anyone else does is going to impact what happens in the next couple of hours nor any follow up meetings, should they happen.

It seams that as soon as a topic gets off the mongering topic very far or for very long, people soon start complaining about it. We see that on entertainment topics like restaurants and beaches, an involved retirement thread would eventually end up with more posts complaining about being off topic than useful information. On the forums that support retirement living topics you also get a much wider view of the Philippines from a non mongering perspective.

No I rent, a condo in an SM building, not the best by far and not the worst by far in terms of quality and value will cost somewhere between 4 and 6 million to buy (plus most of another if you want to but a parking spot.) Then there will be about 2 k a month in condo fees. (Internet, cable, and power separate for most rentals but at 25 K I got network plus cable, a 3 k valus).

I can rent the same apartment, fully furnished (crap stuff mostly but you can supplement the dishes and some of the stuff with your own.) for between 18 k and 25 k a month. To me not worth the in and out costs, the tying up of capital and the risk involved in owing things of great value here.

The best retirement advice I ever heard was do not make any commitments that you can not walk away from for at least the first year. I'd double that and will not buy a vehicle or a condo / long term lease for at least 2 years, unless you were willing to walk oyt the door, get in the vehicle, leave it at the airport and fly away.

None of the usual chat sites are worthwhile as free versions. They will come with message or other restrictions that basically make them a PITA. Girls realise this and often don't waste their time communicating with Standard members.

I too cannot stop being banned from DIA so stopped using it. I now using FC and PL with a little Tinder. FC has delivered more of late especially where you want to drill down to city level (eg Dumaguette). PL only let's you select a province. Cebu Province is huge and contains girls far away from Cebu City.
