But so often the agencies of former Soviet block nations are ignored by those with their anti-US, anti-NATO agendas. These nations enjoyed the freedoms and asked for integration. And being fully aware of Russia's brutal past they naturally asked for protection. It's more that The East expanded to NATO than the other way around. Maybe one day freedom movements will win the day in Russia and they can come up with something more to offer than threats and violence along ludicrous lies used as justification.
