Crackdown is taking its toll on Beach Road. Decent girls (i.e. not complete skanks) are only available in a fairly narrow window between 19:30 and 23:30.

After midnight, police comes out and the road becomes virtually a desert. I've never seen it so devoid of working girls at night. Earlier crackdowns have been a nominal affair, police coming in at random times, swooping up several girls, extorting their 500-1000 baht bribe and letting them go straight back to work (including at the area right in front of the police station). The girls hated the loss of income, but never seemed too perturbed by the trip to the station. This time it seems more serious. One of my regulars complained about the cops, and was in a great hurry to get back home around 23:30.

I hope this is just one of the cyclical things and not a permanent turn for the worse.

Pattaya scene is not the greatest now. For me it is still decent, but I think the quality of the girls on average is bad. Very hard to find hot looking (and young) girls and when you do they might not like you. Like that cute 19-year-old in that soi 8 bar, who I like is never going with me actually. Sometimes other girls (mamasans?) at the bar have offered her but every time I hear her complaining about it somehow or I see the scary look on her face or hear those sounds which tell "please don't barfine me". Once offered her 2000 ST to mamasan or whoever but the girl told me she is not feeling well. OK, everyone can't like you. It makes no point or is no enjoyment to barfine someone, who doesn't like you at all. Still I am 35 year old and decent looking, not too fat so I don't get it. Especially because late at night I have seen her in a taxi with a fat, older and very drunk man. Maybe they are better customers? This same story has happened with a few other (new) and young girls at other beer bars that only good looking girl seems not like to go when she is offered by other girls to me.

Gogos are also ripoffs and jap traps. Girls have better looks and bodies than in beer bars but their attitude is worse. Maybe ok if you want to have sex with "living dolls" (gogo named like that also exists). Like last nite in Whats up gogo I talked and bought a drink to a girl with a hot body. Her face was also ok, even though she was already 28 years old. I joked her maybe she could become my boyfriend later. She drank her beer a little and then went to dance for a long period. Then later she quickly sat down with me. I asked about the barfine and she said 1000 thb. Then I asked how much short time or long time and she said something like "too expensive". I asked what that meant and she mumbled something ST 4000 LT 5000 and then she left. Well, I guess she didn't want a customer or just didn't like me. Or she really thought she was too expensive for me?

For me Pattaya is soi 6. That is my style. I don't waste money for nothing. Gogos get expensive buying drinks and you get too drunk if you go to many bars. And at 10pm it is hard to call it a night. On the other hand already at midnight all the quality has gone out of the bars with customers. Barfines and drinks cost same but girl material is bad. Leftovers. But soi 6 gives me 1000 thb deal when I wake up in the afternoon and feel horny. It is then when the quality of the girl does not matter so much. And still I think there also is decent quality in soi 6. Not much but if look for you find good looking girls too.

I didnt even mention beach road. Mostly old girls. Never seen a hottie.

Saying he is going to do this do that? He got a few checkpoints setup at night pulling motorbikes off the road and checking the breath of the driver locals and Farangs alike and locking them up for days before they are to appear in court. In my book May and November are prime months for crackdown this is when the police have to pay the tuition for their kids?

Both were beautifull and gave some nice GFE back in the hotel. If I remember correctly 600 BF and 2500 for her LT. Took them out at around 9 and went dancing till 3 or 4.

If for example Bacarra in Pattaya and in Bangkok, the BF is 600, the girls charges 2, 000 for ST. 3,000 for LT, seem to be the same in both places? Cost of living is higher in Bangkok than in Pattaya money goes a lot further in Pattaya? It is all relative right?
