The wife was asking me about oily massages. And the happy endings. She then surprises me by saying she would like to watch the girl give me an oily massage with the HJ ending. I had to laugh. My first trip to LOS occurred in March last year, and I was astonished to see so many African girls. While I like and prefer them, I certainly did not travel 20 hours from NYC to bang African girls in LOS. So, I was polite, but passed on all of them.

I meant D.J. music not a place! The Band wasn't good at all and was offbeat. I forgot to add the although I enjoy the Disco back in the hotel it didn't even come close to the old one. Personally if it doesn't pick up I give it a year at best but it should be noted I was there only for 1 night and it does close at 5am. Went into Baccara late last night around 12:30 am - only about half full (if that) on a Monday night and being a cheap charllie myself, thought I could get a girl for under the 2000 usual price tag. There's this girl "Sai" who I've had my eye on for a few months upstairs - we chatted for a bit but she still wanted 2,000 ST. Is this now the standard price? Will it ever go down? I know there was a time not so long ago (last year) when I could negotiate 1,000 baht for ST....perhaps those days are gone.

btw the barfine in Baccara is 600 baht - not 900 as has been previously reported.

Days are long gone. Once in awhile you can negotiate down to 1000ST, but it usually requires a lot of talking and convincing. The market conditions have to be right also.

Cheap pussy in bkk is a thing of the past. If you want cheap, its best to head out of town.

With bar girls, it's probably not easy nowadays, but with freelancers, 1000 baht ST is not a rate too difficult to obtain in Bangkok.

I have no problem whatsoever with people overpaying for sex but 350 baht for a meal? Now that is a sucka play. I'd pay 35-50 for a decent street meal.

They will all offer her the oil massage but not all girls will serve up the "special ending" to her. Best to ask the girls or the receptionist/cashier beforehand though, it’s not like they haven't heard it before. You can also try the outcall massage services and discuss your special request up front.

It sounds like he got a bit more than would be available at a typical curbside stall, for his 350 baht. IMHO, for 35-50 baht, you'd get a plate with some veggies, noodles, and some bits of meat and not two large pork chops, salad, fries, rolls etc.... He was eating in the restaurant in the lobby of the Nana Hotel. I've eaten there many times.

But...[i]western[/i] food in Bangkok is cheaper than in the west, and can often be tastier!

I've been reading all the posts in advance of my first trip this fall. Thanks to everybody for all the informative reportage.

No offense to the guys who book overnight sessions, but I'm more of a short time kinda guy. (As the old saying goes, you pay the girls to leave.) I'm not into chit chat or hanging out. When it comes to sleeping I prefer to do that solo. And the morning go just isn't a priority for me.

But I'm a gentlemen and I don't want to do anything to suggest I'm unhappy with the girl. So I'd appreciate some guidance in respect of how the usual short time session unfolds.

First, do the girls have a time limit in mind? If we go short time do they expect to be on their way at a time certain? If so, please advise. I don't want to break any unwritten rules.

Second, does short time equal one pop? Is so that's fine. Or can I expect ST to unfold like a massage parlor session with a BJ pop followed by some relaxation followed by a second go?

Third, once I've had enough what is the polite way to sending the girl on her way without offence? Is there a euphemism? Some English words the girls understand and won't be offended by?

Fourth, I assume this is when payment is tendered, correct? And I know from reading the traffic here that a small gratuity is often tendered. Is 100 baht the right amount? Or is more expected?

They're not sensitive. Just say 'ok, I'm finished' or 'I have to go'. Best of all - and this is good advice - never bring a girl back to your hotel room, only use short time rooms. This way if you get a bad one (and there are bad ones), you can just run away. If you're in a short time room then there's much less problem ending a session, good or bad.

No tip is necessary, but 100 baht is probably the most common amount.

When it comes to freelancers one or the other -- either you or her -- is going to want out of there after the hour, or more like after the 'finish.' take the shortest short time price and go short time room if you don't know her.
