On the discussion about Classic or any other spa in Jakarta, it all depends on the girl you choose. I was in Classic and had a really good one and then next day I visited Travel and had a so-so time. But two days later I went back to Classic and choose a different girl and had a worst time that at Travel. So I went to Travel next and choose a different girl and had a blast. So point is it depends on the girl you choose and what her mood is at that time. With over 50 girls to choose from it could be hit or miss no matter where you go.

In all discussions on Classic the constant is: "the girls look stunning but the performance is starfish". A suggestion for those looking for a more client friendly experience: try the Maribaya bar in Hotel Melawai in Blok M. The girls are not Miss Indonesia material, but they do their best to please. I just came back from a holiday in Indonesia and I re-encountered a girl who I had many times 8 years ago when she was 19, Novi kecil. Her blowjob skills were just the same as then: awesome. Ko: I realize we are reaching the point of diminishing returns, but I do want to answer your question. He earlier said in substance that the reason many here have criticized the service at Classic is likely because they are smelly, wear dirty clothes, and so forth. I am one of those who earlier, more than once, expressed a negative opinion about the service at Classic, so it is not really true he wasn't referring to me as well as others who also posted negative reviews.

If he had said, "I like Classic, some other don't, different strokes for different folks," that, of course, would have been fine. But he basically stated (and I'm sort of paraphrasing) "I like Classic, some others don't which I suspect is because they smell bad, wear dirty clothing, and so forth, and let me give you all a lesson on how to monger."

As before, I don't think it is asking too much for him to simply tell us which other locales he has frequented in Jakarta, and how he rates their service relative to Classic. That way people here will have some context for evaluating the vantage point from which he has reached his various conclusions.

I hadn't been there in years (the last time was before the renovations and it was both run down, and when I visited had very few girls) but now am thinking it may become one of my regular stops.

This was based on what I read either on this site or elsewhere and because it was not at that time on my "circuit" I didn't know about the closure from direct experience. But I'm quite confident this did happen. I'm not sure the extent of the renovations, but the layout of the bar, etc. did seem a bit different when I went there recently compared to my (rather weak) memory of the layout a few years ago.

Edit: I now see it was four years ago, http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?965-Jakarta&p=1159787&highlight=Maribaya+renovations#post1159787. But I suppose it is possible the scheduled renovations never happened.

One other thing: That Classic has a lot of customers does not in any sense mean the girls there give good service, just as the fact Nataree in Bangkok has a lot of customers does not mean the girls [I]there[/I] give good service. The choice as to which P4P places to give business to depends on a combination of factors--looks, service, price, age, ambiance--and just because the balance of factors might lead a number of customers to frequent the establishment does not mean the girls there give good service, particularly when the other factors score high.

As Smoothy correctly points out, quite a few men buy blow-up dolls, but that doesn't mean blow-up dolls give good service. I would agree though the girls at Classic on average give better service--albeit not by so much- than do blow-up dolls. I also would think a man who spends a lot of time with blow-up dolls likely would consider the service at Classic quite good compared to the standard he is accustomed to. To Undercoverh:

Just want to say that I appreciate your review and POV from a non-Indo monger experiencing Jakarta for the first time. I've always thought Jakarta was an awesome, underrated, and under-the-radar place for most international mongers. The end game is the same as in BKK, but I"ve always found the experience enjoyable and with good value. The cheapest lay I've found in BKK while being decent would be at Thermae Cafe, which cost 1500 Baht ST ($40 USD) which is the same price as Classic Hotel after tip, but has much less selection and not as enjoyable process for me. Just ignore any haters here and post your reviews because they make a positive contribution to the forum.

Additionally, I think Classic is mainly geared towards local Indo Mongers, who prefer cheap prices and the quick "wham-bam" approach, rather than the "getting to know you" beer bar approach that most westerners prefer. If anyone prefers this style, they are better served in places around Blok M instead of places in the North like Classic Hotel.
