The first ATM I went to outside international arrivals at NAIA3 was PNB. I tried 20 k and it said my bank wouldn't allow it. I tried 10 k and it said the same thing. I went to the bank to the right and same thing. Then I went to Phil Trust Bank to the left of PNB and it let me take out 20 k. I didn't try for anything larger. Figure I will just get more in Cebu.

If no paper receipt, take a picture with your phone.
The home bank's computer might identify this as a sign that the card has been stolen, and deactivate the card. Happened to me once. Bank personnel described this as an error, but whatever.

But you really should google for the real facts about what the investigation in Texas found about the videos claiming to show illegal behavior on PP's part regarding embryonic tissue. And, oh yeah, the findings in every state so far about whether they are illegally selling baby parts. You are entitled to whatever opinion you want, but not your own facts.

The reason why more guys don't get vasectomized is not because of the cost (usually minimal) but because of the incredible amount of misunderstanding and sheer ignorance about what it is.
I have highly-educated western friends who have bizarre ideas about what is involved.
Mine was done 20 years ago and it involved an extremely minor surgical procedure that took only part of a morning to complete and I walked home afterwards.
It has no effect on testosterone production or hormonal systems. It is totally unrelated to any form of castration. It involves snipping the tubes (the vas deferens) that carry sperm from the testes into the seminal fluid.
The effect is that the seminal fluid (the cum; man juice, call-it-what-you-will) remains the same EXCEPT that it doesn't have any pesky little wrigglers it.
The snipping occurs in the loose skin around the top of the scrotum; it's painless, and the incisions (there are 2 vas deferens) are about 1 cm long on each side. When mine was done reversals were not part of any consideration and the doctor took a piece out of the tube and burned (cauterized) the ends. Nowadays I understand they "cap" the ends so that reversal is more straight forward if needed, but it carries a risk that the caps might come off and the tubes get re-connected blah blah (highly unlikely).
Most doctors will only do it after fairly heavy counselling that you are certain you want it, so you need to be adamant in your mind that you don't want any more kids (or any kids at all). It beggars the question why guys would get a vasectomy only if they were sure it could be reversed.
One possible side effect is that the volume of ejaculate might diminish slightly but it is barely measurable. There is folk lore around that it changes the taste but in a favorable way (that is, spermless cum tastes better), but this is highly subjective and I have not yet read reports about any authoritative controlled experiments to verify this fact.
I just wish some of the macho brigade who think it's going to reduce their libido would take some time to read and understand the physiology and see that any adverse effects are most likely in the head (aka the brain).

He's in a committed long term relationship, let's say he's been married for 25 years. His wife had her tubes tied for family planning purposes maybe 10 years ago.
He's wondering how he broaches the subject of getting a vasectomy which is clearly not needed in his home life.
He has considered the option of the simplicity of the operation but he wonders about the scars. He could get it before going on a regular intra-state business trip.
Anyone got any experiences to share on this topic?

BD.[/QUOTE]Whatever scars are left would probably be so minimal no one would notice unless she was lifting his scrotum sac and looking for it with a flashlight and magnifying glass. When I had mine done decades ago, the doctor made two tiny punctures, not cuts, on the underside of each testicle to get to the tubes he was planning to cut. I believe many doctors today will make only one puncture in the middle and simply pull the tubes from the left and right through that same puncture hole to cut them. These kinds of puncture wounds heal up very fast in that part of the body.
Technically, your friend wouldn't have to broach the subject at all with anyone else and he could just get it done without her knowledge. Legally, I have no idea what the consequences are if she ever found out. But there are probably some, not because his getting it done secretly denied her the opportunity to have a child (she had her tubes tied already), but because it pretty much shouts he was planning to fuck other women without worry of getting them pregnant.
After 25 years, I am sure there would be a slug of several days if not several weeks where he is pretty certain no sex will be on the menu until he heals. LOL. And after all that time, 25 years, I would be shocked if she was still so busy giving him blowjobs that there was a chance in hell she'd see that puncture wound before it fully healed and essentially disappeared, maybe after a month maximum.
Getting a vasectomy was one of the smartest decisions I ever made in my life. BTW, I got mine when I was married, my wife at the time was aware that I was going to get one and fully supported the idea, but I don't think the doctor who performed the procedure even asked about what my wife thought about it, that I would need her to sign off on my getting it done or anything like that. Maybe that is required some places these days. This was in California in the late 1980's.

At the time I had to obtain a signed statement from my spouse that she did not object to my having the procedure. I don't know whether those policies still exist nor whether they exist universally.
