I get horrible reflux if I go a day w / o Prilosec and figure I'll be hungover and will need something for a headache. Does anyone encounter problems in immigration if entering NAIA w / a bunch of OTC pills? Do drug stores there sell Prilosec? Or will I be fine bringing a few week supply?

Best to bring it in original containers and in your carry on bag. Bring enough for your entire stay. Even if Phil pharmacy stocks it they may be out of stock.

As long as you are not on any "do not fly" list or have a fugitive record in the Philippines, they are eager to wave you through and get your money infused in their economy.
If you must go to a Philippine pharmacy, go with a piece of paper printed clearly as to dosage and number of capsules you want. Most medications, even those that we consider over-the-counter in the West, are dispensed from behind the pharmacy counter. They may or may not have Prilosec, so show them the generic name, Omeprazole. Often these are cheaper than name brand. As to pharmacy name, I prefer Generic Drugs or Star Drugs, but Mercury, Watsons, and various others are okay. Others here may have these in a different order.

I would go with PI as Ukraine is still in conflict with Russia and that could escalate again into a much bigger issue and spread to larger areas. Best to avoid until that settles back to Normal.
Unless you score freebies in PI, 25000 p a month for everyday living and having a girl 24/7 everyday is not likely if you had to also pay for the chicks.

Apart from your very naive question (Ukraine or Philippines), there are infinitely more variables to consider rather than "cheapest girls" and we all have different priorities regarding living arrangements.
I suggest that you allocate 1 month to be spent in each place using your monthly $500.

25000 p or about $535 US is enough to live on in PI, but don't expect the same lifestyle and everything you have or are accustomed to at home, like having a car to drive etc.
From what you said, if you are ONLY sticking with ONE girl then maybe possible as she will be more or less kinda stays with you and you pay her the bare minimum and nothing more and also stays for free once a while on her own.
But again, don't expect a luxury lifestyle with only 25000 p with a girl in tow as I could easily burn through 25000 a month just on the girls alone.
If you feel ok with the situation in Ukraine than give it a shot and see if it fits your lifestyle. Personally, I avoid places that are in conflicts as I value my own safety above all else. The world is going to shit with all the terrorism without having to go and look for more trouble in conflict zones. The only bloodshed I'll tolerate is having the girls tell me they are having their period and not the kind where a plane could drop a bomb or an artillery shell on my head at anytime. But that's just me.
