I found it unusual that a girl would ask for payment before leaving the club. I have never come across this in any other country. Even paying the girl in the hotel before the fun starts is considered by many to be a guarantee of bad service.

I understand that paying before the act is the norm in Turkey.

I know it is a risk but I have always payed when they asked for, which in case is before leaving the club, and lived only one bad experience so far. Anyway, the only club I go is Bacardi and maybe I was lucky for that as it is said that -tough a bit expensive compared to other venues- even the management of the club is keen on these kind of things. I have heard many stories from the girls that many girls are banned from the club in case they do not get along with the unwritten rules.

Experience has shown that payment beforehand always leads to a feeling of comfort and thus better service..

The girls have to act that way anyway as they've almost all had experiences of having to go away without any money when they've accepted to be paid afterwards from the guys they're familiar with..

The situation in Bacardi is completely the decision and preference of the club and isn't anything associated with the girls' choice...

Actually, I've normally found that the Euro is closer to being the "parallel currency" of Istanbul than the USD. As regards mongering, this was particularly the case last time I was in town, in March 2005. The dollar had weakend so much recently that the girls had lost confidence in it. It wasn't just a question of getting the exchange rate right (they HAD factored in that USD/EUR was no longer 1:1...) they simply preferred to be paid in Euros, full stop.

Because of the Euro and US DOllars currency rates some girls prefer Euros bur every few of them ask you to pay in euro.

US dollars and YTL are current acceptable currencies. I don't recommend you to pay in euros. Because of the Euro/YTL exchange rates you pay more than the regular prices.

Prices may be differ from one club to another and the quality of the girl may add extra on price but in over all.

$50 or 75 YTL for 2 hours(some ask $100)

$150 or 220YTL for allnight long(some ask $200)

Police raids have killed most of the action. Most of the EE girls are hanging out in Antayla and other places.

You can get to the city center by either using the metro connections or getting on the "Havas Bus" (pronounced as "Havash") which you will see right in front of you when you get out of the terminal building.

Though the metro is much cheaper, I think the bus will be easier for you. "Havas" logo on the bus or on the ticket point will be in navy-green-yellow colors, no chance to miss it.

The driver or anyone around will help you in some elementary english language. Just show your Hotel address to them before getting on the bus and they will tell you where to step down. As far as I remember, this bus has three stops, all central areas.

Don't worry about the language and even you don't speak any Turkish, you'll always find a helping hand around when you are in Istanbul. Keep in mind that the Exchange Offices (Döviz Bürosu) always have a slightly better currency exchange rate than the banks or the hotel reception, as elsewhere.
