+1. Mainhattan is a clean club. Same as Oase or Sharks or World. Only Palace I would rate a little better, especially the rooms.
HB.
World and Sharks become not so clean, for toilets and rooms at World, for beds and rooms at Sharks. At GT and LR, they clean the room between 2 rooms.

I called both FKK Colosseum in Ausburg and FKK Hawaii in Ingolstadt (both just outside of Munich) to inquire with Reception whether I could bring a female guest with me in the club. Both clubs gave me a resolute "no" and clearly stated that no female guests are permitted in their clubs. In Frankfurt, female guests in the clubs are no problem, but it sounds like Bavaria observes different rules on this point.
WTF.
I'm going to be doing some touristy things with my girl in Munich for sure but I wanted to spend some time visiting both FKKs down there as well, but now it's looking like that won't be possible. Sure, we can spend naughty time in the hotel, but that gets boring pretty quick compared to spending time together in an FKK club.
I don't know of any other naughty places down there in Munich to take my girl to. With all the touristy stuff we have planned, I think we'll only have about 3-4 hours per day left over for naughty time.
Thoughts? Ideas? Would it be worth it for me to show up at each club with my girl in tow and politely plead my case in person? Or would that just be a waste of time?
Any other naughty places worth checking out while I'm down in Munich that will allow a female guest?

That's probably the reason why they don't want to risk any female in the club without valid papers. So. I wouldn't risk it.
HB.
To our seniors member on this board:
I will rent a car on my next FKK land trip early next year. There are 3-4 clubs I would like to visit (I have only been to Frankfurt 4 big ones), like Livingroom, Ocean, Goldentime Samya ect.
Can some one recommend some decent hotels (clean, not fancy) which can be used as anchor hotels for visiting those clubs? I like to stay at least 2 nights before I move on to a different location.
Thanks a lot.
Dave.
Here are some tips. Look up all the club locations on the map (G-maps). Now, you should be aware of their locations. Go to Kayak.com, and you will see an option to view all the hotels on a map. Think about what location will make your drive to various clubs back and forth the shortest, and consumes the least amount of fuel. That and of course, another constraint is your hotel budget. There are combination of things to consider when looking for the right hotel. Based on your constraints, choose the most reasonable option.
Since you are driving, parking will be one of the most important factors, and will be another constraint in picking the right hotel.
You're better off booking the same hotel for the period you are there.
What I do in such cases is look for hotels in booking.com, then check the distance from the Club in Google maps. Things to look for in a hotel are not only parking, but also check-in and check-out time. At what time are you going to visit the club? Do you want to ckeck in before visiting the club or are you happy with ckecking in later (in that case beware of hotels with "check in until 20:00"). If club Nr 2 on your list is not too far from club Nr 1 you should choose hotel Nr 1 with a late check-out so that you can stay late in bed instead of having to get going as early as 10:00 with hours to while away before the next club opens.
For Living Room I stayed at Classis Hotel Kaarst but parking was not as advertised. I had to park in one of the side-streets. I wouldn't book that hotel again.
For Acapulco I stayed at Best Western Plus Parkhotel Velbert (very easy parking, room not so good value for money though). Hotel Carpe Diem was better value for money but it was unmanned at late hours.
For Samya and Babylon I recommend Hotel Europarc, Siemens Str. 19,50170 Kerpen (very cheap, no parking problem).
For Sixsens I recommend Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek (easy parking, very good value for money, very picturesque surroundings).
For Golden Times I remember Akzent Hotel Bruggener Klimp Haupts as OK.
For Finca Erotika I have a fond memory of Hotel Zugbrucke Grenzau (a wellness hotel in a forested area, 18km from the FKK). Driving there during the snowy season might be problematic though.
Thank you so much.
One thing to watch out for is that the hotel you chose also has 24 hour reception. I once stayed in a nice two star but they locked up at midnight.
Yeah, I recall my first visit to GT long ago on PT. I reserved the hotel near the trainstop, but hastily made my way to the club. I was used to hotels around Fra central station at the time thinking there would be a receptionist around 24/7.
When I arrived on cab after the club closed, there were no reception working late hrs!
Luckily for me there were a few guys playing cards let me in.
It was cool of reception to leave my room key on the desk as well. Man, I've run into some close calls over the years. Parking situations, etc. Getting towed. If the hotel is in the city, town, likely they will charge separate parking on the garage or say street parking available, etc. On the more remote locations, parking will likely be available. Read the ammenities. Even what is stated you will not know precisely what to expect. Less densely populated areas are safer bets when parking is mentioned.
So yes, read what hrs the staff is working. Some 24 hrs, others limit availability.
Be&be chain I've been in has credit card check in system from the outside. It would be nice if other places do this.
Also, if you flying in and out if Ratingen, that could be an anchor area as it's nearby the airport.
Also, speed cameras around bridges to cologne and certain spots that have them.
Under overpasses. Whatch out for speed limit to decrease down to 50 around Cologne areas. They will usually have a sign stating radar before the speed camera comes up. You will get a flash of light when you got hit with the camera.

And what did you think of them? I see that Oase claim they only do extraordinary things at these special events. Is that just marketing perhaps? Artemis usually have this wheel you spin when entering with different prices like1, 2 or 3 free drinks, free champaigne, free entry, free 30 min sex etc. Palace had the usual costumes although their octoberfest also had free beer from a large keg and lots of sausages and meats. The palace costumes are at least far better than what I have seen at Artemis. But I have never been to a Christmas party anywhere. Is it worth it? Currently I am undecided if I will go that weekend or the weekend after.
