Although I've been using social media reference to wechat had me curious enough to sign up, but using it is perplexing me. I find myself needing the training wheels primer. How do I move away from my current location to see what's somewhere else? Also, all I see are profile pics and a distance. Is there any way to see who is offering services without having to open up each and every profile? It looks very labor intensive, but I'm also cognizant of my basking in ignorance here, so if anyone can chime in with a thought or two on navigating this app that would be great. The Youtube tutorials seem mostly useless from the standpoint of the monger. Thanks!
Well, first of all put a positive profile picture of yourself. Post some pictures in your timeline, like the hotel, your room. May be a single toothbrush "looking for a companion" .
Then put your status to something like "oh, I need a massage, plus."
And the rest either is waiting or looking through other profiles. If you have some pressure better look through the profiles.
Changing the location is possible with special Apps for location spoofing.

Dee
Thanks, that helps. I was afraid I was an idiot, but apparently I'm not as dumb as I thought I was for being unable to figure out how to shift the location. .

One night in Jakarta
Hi Guys, I've got a layover in Jakarta Oct 13 and would really like to have all night with a pretty, busty Indo girl. The one I used to see there apparently has a boyfriend now. I'm thinking of staying at Classic. Any recommendations or referrals greatly appreciated.

WeChat

You need to both be seeking and have a profile that will attact the working girl or her agent to contact you. I havent used WeChat in Indo, but I assume it works pretty much the same as other parts of SEA. For seeking, just scan the photos and the tag lines. Usually a working will use a saucy photo and say something about massage. Just click on everyone of those and start trying to connect. For your own profile, use tag line that makes it clear what you're looking for.
The location thing is a hassle and I haven't tried to spoofing apps. Good luck, but expect lots of fake photos. But you can do a video call from the app to see her in real time. All free.
I find the app the most helpful for staying in touch with a girl you like. I ask every girl for her weChat ID as soon as I meet her. The app is great because even if she loses her phone you can still get in contact. Plus you can sendandreceive photos and videos. Use video chat to actually see the girl before you invite her to your room. Lastly, I use the favorites feature to store my photos and phone numbers, hotel cards, etc. If you make your sign in a bogus email account rather than your phone number you can checking anytime from any smartphone.

Traffic
Traffic in Jakarta must be fantastic this week!
Some years ago I was in Kalimantan for work and since everybody on the project went home for Idul Fitri and all work ceased we poor westerners decided it would be prudent to spend that period in Jakarta. It was a unique experience. Nearly empty roads, much to the delight of the taxi drivers, and clear skies. From the 10th floor of my hotel I could clearly see the mountains South of Jakarta, which normally is impossible due to the smog.
I don't know Fisherman, but JAD also has that kind of info (if he's still making such arrangements). I don't do those type of hook ups personally, but I do know local "talent agents" who take care of that kind of thing. There are also other web sites that are in Bahasa that specifically list those type of girls. The prices are not cheap. Which girls are in you interested in? If you are just interested in any model or artist, that is very easy to arrange. If you want Jupe or Luna Maya, that's not so easy.

No traffic, no smog, but no girls.

Idul Fitri in Jakarta
That's the only good thing about staying in town for Idul Fitri. No traffic, no smog, but no girls.
Distinctly less, but it was better than staying in Kalimantan. In Jakarta you could go and get a beer and have a go at one of the few girls who hadn't gone home. I rember going to Melawai twice. There were some girls who had not gone home and had rented a room together. Not the optimum, but it worked.

Maybe it was another day close to the end of Ramadan and not Idul Fitri precisely, but in any event it was explained to me that everyone was out shopping for the end of Ramadan. The most horrendous traffic I ever saw in Jakarta or anywhere else.
So when Smoothy commented the traffic would be great these days, I thought he was being facetious and that is why I responded earlier the way I did.

Not really trust web sites but can you refer me to the "talent agents" you know? Money not an issue as long as can get regular face you see on TV or magazines, no necessarily Luna-Jupe level.
Cheers.

Map of Jakarta scene?
Will be heading to Jakarta in August, have read the posts and won't ask any dumb questions (aka "which hotels are guest friendly" but the.
One thing I haven't found is a map or list of regions or addresses for someone who doesn't know Jakarta. Classic? BATS? CJ's? Blok M? Has anyone.
Found (or bothered to make) a map or a list of locations by region / address? Would certainly be helpful to know the layout before choosing a hotel.
