Apartment (nice and around Kreschatyk) and food (If you want half-way decent food and don't cook them yourself) can be significant, apart from travel related expenses. I think that's why people who wanted to minimize those costs and maximize their hits with young girls went to RIO or other related venues. Mongers have to pay these fixed costs everyday they are there whether they get a decent lay or not, or whether they bring a girl to the apartment or not.

It's quite funny to follow posts here because everyone has his own opinion about spending time in Kiev and what girls to be hunted for. Why don't you stop it and pay more attention to facts than to opinions. I won't write again about Rio, just one last sentence: If you want a nice and "clean" nice girl, you don't have much time driving from club to club, don't speak Russian and you don't pay much attention to money, Rio is good. All other opinions here are totally right as well if you look for something different. Of course you have to choose very well the girl you take out and like always, if you don't take out a 9 or 10 the chances increase that she stays longer than 3 hrs. It's up to you and your attitude.

I was 6 days in Kiev and got a driver for USD 15 / hour to check out some clubs (most of them I know already)!

Deluxe: Great Club, beautiful girls, but not all of them you can take home, even the ones are professional sometimes don't go with foreigners, may be because they don't speak English or waiting for a Russian Billionaire.

Buddha Bar: Stylish Bar / restaurant like in every other country. Some Professionals at the bar, some nice some average ones. On Friday night at around midnight not much. Lots of tourists.

Vodka Bar: Worst experience in my life! Shitty club in the basement of a mall. Lots of young people and almost all drunken. Easy to pick up some drunken young girls but I didn't have a good feeling there (around 4:00 am). No good attitude there.

Shooters: walked in and out right after it. Not my style.

Mafia on Kreshatik: Had dinner there with a friend (around 11:00 pm). Already empty but great to watch girls walking by on the boardwalk and some pretty ones in the Restaurant. As always some look at you and you know why and some don't pay attention at all.

Avalon: I was there twice upstairs in the Karaoke bar and downstairs at the lounge. Nice women and nice atmosphere.

Rio:. I talked too much about it.

Club Dolls: Brand new Club on Red Army street. Nice new strip club with very good atmosphere but when we were there not too much girls. Some nice ones, some average. May be 25 girls. Prices almost same like Rio. My friend told me on another day it was more crowded.

Strip Club Paradise: on Left bank, same owner as Rio. Redneck area with just a few girls. Some nice, some not. Not worth going the long way.

Mandarin Boat: They open on May 25th (hopefully) in Podol. Boat like in the past days River Palace Boat. Same owner as Rio.

McDonalds on Kreshatik: well. Look at other posts here. Same opinion.

May be I forgot some clubs and of course there are some more I didn't visit.

I can only give one advice from my side about being in Kiev. Behave like you are! You can be friendly, smile a lot, be a Gentleman and don't be arrogant. Dress nice but not too much. If you are natural and more like an average man with good behavior, you will have a lot of phone numbers and a lot of dates. But you need time for this as this is not for a one night F. If you just want to go there for F, go to a (strip) club and take a girl (if you have money) or go to Shooters, Vodka Bar or McDonalds at night if you don't have money. But it's work to get one. Of course this is a brief advice and my English is not so good.

You don't need to worry about walking the streets at night either, especially in the centre. You will get harrasment from cops it's usually to get a bribe, not race related.

I am not white, in fact from what you say we probably have similar skin tone. I have been to many places in Eastern Europe, although admittedly not Russia or Ukraine. From what I have heard on the news, I would not be totally comfortable travelling on my own in Russia and not sticking to safe central tourist areas.

But I have read earlier in this forum that Ukraine is very safe, I have been to small villages in the east of Poland and that is safe for someone like me. So I would not be overtly worried.

I do think that based on my experiences that you will have an advantage with many women in Ukraine, so I am curious to see how this works out.
