Today I witnessed a raid at OE at end of Sellamuttu Av at approx 5 pm. This is a first for me after all these years. Anyway all the action was on the sea side where they all lined up then and bundled into the vehicles. Its scary!

Another point to those visiting karaoke clubs. Was just told over the weekend by a person who works in one (DJ) that they have installed cameras inside including VIP rooms. So next time you cuddle some one inside a VIP room upposedly in privacy the manager maybe watching and worse still imagine your mug shot on file with them!

Love to know if they take in clients (mongers) on the raid and what happens after that.

Twelve women arrested on charges of having run a brothel under the guise of an Ayurvedic massage parlour at Deanston Place in Kollupitiya were remanded till February 15 by a Colombo Court today.

The twelve suspects were arrested on Sunday (12) , by the Kollupitiya Police on a search warrant issued by the Colombo Fort Magistrate. The Kollupitiya Police alleged that the first suspect, the female manager of the so-called massage parlour had allegedly operated the brothel under the guise of a massage parlour. The other eleven suspects were arrested on charges of having aided and abetted the illegitimate operation.
