I come from the wrong side of the railroad tracks so I am not as astute as most others here. I learned how to spell Medellin from this board and that's how it is spell on this board. I do what I do not because I have so much, but because I know how it feels to have Nothing. The imbalance of power in these relationships or arrangements with these young woman causes me a lot of pain. I keep telling myself that I do what I do for altruistic reasons. But I know why these girls let me enjoy the pleasures that they give because of what I do for them. I just hope that I do no harm.

Don't feel sorry for them. These girls are being presented an opportunity and if managed right it can benefit them. The ones who find regular guys who pay and / or just do it when they need a little extra money do fine. Most of these girls waste their money when times are good and then get older and have gotten used to having money and get trapped in the circle. Being a working girl is a job for a lazy person and just like Pablo Escobar, Martha Stewart, etc greed gets the best of them. Also, these girls are emotionally stronger than you think.

I never attach conditions on the scholarships awarded to the young women by my foundation. I tell them, and anyone with whom I have dealings, that (1) I never do anything that I don't want to do; and, (2) that I never, ever, want my friends to do anything that they don't want to do.

My mentoring includes what I hope will make them strong, independent, and educated women. Women with a purpose in life. Part of the time with them is to build their self esteem so they are confident that whatever they want in life, they can have have it. A smart and beautiful women has power. Most of these girls, later in their lives, want to "pair bond" and have a family. We discuss the pleasures they can give, and what a man wants. I just give them the opportunity to practice. Batting 100 per cent, so far. I've assured them that if they learn to have passionate, open and fun sex, then they can have any man that they want. It's an education that some young men out there, in a few years, will reap the benefit. It's karma: some care, consideration, giving opportunity when none existed, results in receipt of wonderful pleasure. I don't think that harms anyone.

Next week I'm meeting with a Paisa that is in a bicycle club that rides every Sunday from Medellin up to Rio Negro. All uphill. I bet it does the body good. Hell, I get tired riding in a car on that trip.

Honestly I don't understand your disgust with LT's scholarship fund.

These girls know exactly what the program is:

They take care of LT and he takes care of them.

Nothing is hidden, they know upfront what they are doing and what the payoff is.

I imagine that LT is a pleasant guy, so he most likely wines and dines them as well, with added gifts too.

No difference at all then the normal PFP deal, except that LT's selected scholarship girls are getting a far bigger payout with a potential education and better future.

We have all encountered people in our lives that like to engage in the most negative and angry manner. They see someone that is trying to improve the lives of others, and they ridicule it. They see another's pleasure and criticize it. They find every and any reason to make personal attacks. Speaking just for me, I am pleased that I don't allow these kind of people into my life. Their collective vile and nasty attitudes are contrary to everything that I believe and that I try to live. Unfortunately, the P4P world attracts a small minority that enjoy abusing and degrading these beautiful young women who are in the springtime of their lives, even if some, when we encounter them, are no longer "fresh." Let's all be thankful that we don't live in the hell that must be their daily plight, and which they obviously want us to share. Now I know what is meant by the phrase, misery loves company. I have no idea what has occurred in the lives of these troubled souls, but let all of us try to understand that they are just trying to deal with their own pain. I feel sorrow and compassion for them.

None of us have any control over the hate that some choose to personify when their fingers hit the keyboard of their computers. What is written says nothing about the subject of these sophomoric, abhorrent, repugnant, invidious, obnoxious, and offensive posts. But it says everything about the writers. I read this venom, and wonder what in life has caused such anger, hate and misery. But, if you've never felt love, I guess that you are unable to feel or give any. Like I have written, let us show some compassion for these few among us.

Turning to the practical, the vile that a few spew here has caused some long time posters to go elsewhere, and the infrequent visitor to this thread to venture here but once. This thread was previously moderated. I talked with Jackson about this when I was in Bs As. I don't know if my requesting that he allow an unmoderated discussion was influential with him, or otherwise. But, if some don't control their behavior here, I'm thinking it might be time to have another discussion with him.
