Yes when you try with unaware places, be prepared because sometime we might misjudge a regular girl for a 'looking' at that time be prepared to say 'Oh, I'm sorry, actually I. ' or start the bike or car and fly away.

While pick-up lines like the one you are suggesting are useful, what I find in places like Parry's Corner (with the Burma Bazar shopping crowds!!) or Cathedral Road areas is that one usually gets signals from the women first. That seems to be because they are looking for their day's earning and do not want to waste time being coy and aloof. WTF happens when an active monger like me hit a dead city where mongring is next to impossible?

1. Try to reach out to seniors who can help? if this fails.

2. Travel to the next closest city where mongering is active - B'lore. OMG, LE is tight there too.

3. Hit the night clubs Paassha, Flame, Dublin etc; well if that fails too.

4. Hit the streets, cath rd, N'bakkam - unworthy experience.

Option 5 have been in place consistently for me for last almost 3 yrs for Chennai.

Very difficult to break Chennai Code.

I got one independent contact from one member for next trip but bad luck struck here as well as she has shifted her base to Pune.

Option 2 is better and go for it when you gonna too dry ...

Shatabadi Train to Bangalore is quite economical and cost 10% of Air travel with same travel time. You can have ST and same day return to chennai. Your total cost should not exceed 4k including your travel expenses.
