Book the hotel on expedia as late as possible because the rates plummet a day or two before one needs a room. Last time I paid $95 (before tax) for a superior room.

As long as you ladies have an ID, and are actually 18 years of age, there are no restrictions (despite the fact that it is a family hotel in the Zona Colonial). The night receptionist would not let my 90 year old mother visit without her cedula. I have bad viscious fights with her when she refused entry to my dates whom she had let in the night before, because they left their cedula at home.

That being said, I brought 5 girls in a day to my room at the Palacio when I was last in Sto Domingo. I have certainly brought 2 at a time on many occasions. The hotel defines the term "girl friendly".

You don't need no stinking bottles, be the best looking thing in there or a booth. It ain't that serious and you don't want that attention. There are few Pros in either club and if you want to ruin the ability to talk to any non-pro, talk to one while in the club. 9-10 times if you see a Puta you know in there she will avoid you as she is only part timing.

Buy a whiskey (no beer) post up and shoot game in your best Spanish. This is when the ability to dance really pays off. I can't remember the Jack Ass that stated; 'Americans have a hard time getting in' Learn some Spanish and get out of Sosewer; it will stop you from being the 10th customer served this week on a daily basis.

Palacio is on Hotwire for 59 before taxes. It is listed as a 3 and half star hotel with gym and pool. You will not see the name until you book.

Bottle's aren't the worse option in the world. I am not talking about working girl bars, or casa's de cita, that would be a waste of pesos.

If you are going to have a few drinks, and have a chill with a few ladies, bottle service is a good thing. I tend to go out with ladies that drink so I expect to spend on drinks.

Let's say average price of a drink is 300pesos in a large classy club. Proper drink should have one ounce if alcohol but for this experiment you get 1. 5ounces / drink. In Road you get a. 750 liter bottles for bottle service. You will get 17 drinks from that bottle. The price of the bottle is 3000-4000pesos. The drink total price is 5100pesos, you will actually save on drinks.

Then what do you get from bottle service:

- Your own space, in a hot crowded club that can be worth the price of the bottle.

- no waiting for drinks at the bar, again in a crowded spot priceless.

- ice, and chasers (soda, juice, etc).

- give the the bouncer 100peso note and he will make sure no1 is messing with you stuff while you on the dance floor.

In really your not paying for the bottle you are paying for the space, and convenience.

Now I don't go to clubs unless I go with a group, and since I prefer to drink anymore I try to go to lounges that have ladies night specials. Some have unlimited drinks for ladies.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Barcelo is no guest friendly but if you stay alone they will let you enter a person because you pay for a double room. I went with a cousin and when I received a visit they asked $63 to let her in.

You do get guaranteed seating when you buy bottle service. Up north the waitresses put sparklers on the tray when they bring your bottles. It's all about being the center of attention. I am going to have to agree to disagree with anybody who thinks being the center of attention in the Zona Oriental is a good look.

left the country this morning and got to the airport around 8am. for a moment, i felt like i was on el conde. beautiful chicas hawking massages. but like everything else at airports, the massages were not cheap, starting at $20 and $70 for full body. being a morning person and having plenty of time to kill before my flight, i gave in. i got the beautiful hawker as my, uh, therapist. happy ending (didn't try for more) and i was $90 poorer (with tip) but slept soundly all the way home. i think i was more taken with the novelty. i've been in the airport numerous times and never noticed such downright debauchery.

She was with me when I checked in so I do not know if that makes a different. One incident that I witness while checking out late at night in February, two guys tried to take their dates to their room but security was not letting them use the elevator. So the guys went to the front desk clerk and said something I could not hear and they were allowed to take the women up to their room. These girls definitely looked like they were only visiting for that night.

The $100 is for starters that does not include tips or transportation. Unless the girl is a semi pro they are not rolling on the first night and I am not looking for a Novia I love to dance and hang out but for my time and money I want a sure thing. It made me think of USA style buying a bottle. We are talking about Latin America style where there are 5 or 6 people in the group of friends. They do that at bars, clubs, and restaurants alike. Of course I have done that, but at much lower prices. Usually when I buy a bottle I am already with a girl and we only buy the small bottles. I've never sat at a table alone and just decided to buy a big bottle and invite random strangers over to drink it with me. And I've yet to be in a local Dominican club where the bottle cost 4300 pesos. I'm usually at a hole in the wall drinking the local stuff. I guess I need to step my game up.

Been to Eurphoria several times with friends and now GF. I have also been alone about 8 times just chilling with a drink with decent success. Lots of tight bodies and MILFs. (relative term) 90% of the club buying bottles is nonsense. Ain't that many booths available. Bottles do attract attention and group of Gringos sharing their bottle is a carnival attraction but that's what most want. Individual are better off buying a whisky, stalking and mingling. Don't be afraid to open your mouth bad Spanish and all. Individual bottle poppers are seen as a Paryguayo (sp) but that was not your contention. Its the same game as in the states but wider swath of age acceptability. Your not good in a club at home your better of going to a casa as its cheaper.
