East China - Shanghai

Paulaner's is a German restaurant, which turns into a dance place after 10 pm, with live music and a lot of Chinese sing song girls. Another place is probably Zapata's, on Hengshan Road / Dongping Road.

Anyway, good luck! If not, try SNG, rain in shanghai or Helen and friends, the caterers. I think you can find the weblinks here.

It wouldn't be worth posting if the 320 rmb got what you laid out for MP+. The place calls itself a spa. But during the special, I got 50 minutes (10 minutes for shower before and after) of good GFE good time, including FS, BBBJ, fingering, dining and sungling with a decent looking younger girl witha nice body. I was amazed at the great value. The special price is good till end of May. I plan at least 2 more trips. If my second experience is as good as my first, I'll provide the details of the place and contact information to contributing friendlies in PM.

Anyone know if Lidu Spa in Wugong Hotel (Fuzhou Rd) is still active or any good? Decided to WeChat the manager on there to see if still worked, and he added me shortly after, surprisingly. Told me rates were 800-1200 rmb /80 min FS depending on the girl I choose.

Anyone care to share any experiences, or will I get screwed over instead of getting screwed?

Did you guys hear about that guy who got beat up by LE after leaving a massage parlor in BJ? Apparently it was a sting, and because the guy didn't confess he got beat so badly that he eventually died. Can something like that happen in Shanghai? I know anything is possible, but looking for any useful suggestions to make sure that doesn't happen to me. Thanks, fellas.

The traffic police are hassling the electric scooter drivers and pedestrians, but not the car drivers turning from the right and left at intersections with no intentions of stopping to yield your right of way. They only stop for a steel or concrete barrier. I was told by an experienced member Not go a sauna or MP in the afternoon, say 3:00 pm. The LE are after the bosses to make a point, not the patrons. LE is less likely to raid if the place Is full. Too much manpower is needed.

Safest is 11 am to 2 pm.

That being said shit can still happend since I know of 2 MPs (1 in Jing'an and 1 in Gubei) which both got shut down for some time after an early afternoon visit.

In both cases it wasn't even a raid but a customer at the exit whom was asked what kind of service he received and him thinking it was best to confess (big mistake).

Apparently it happened on 5/7. The john who died was arrested on the street after he had visited the foot massage place. Supposedly, he resisted arrest. Details are sketchy, as expected, about the incident, but it is worth re-reading Shanghai Guide's earlier post as to how to act if you are napped. First rule, you are in a hole, don't dig deeper.

Back in shanghai, one of my favorite cities and a place I have been to many times over the years. Seems like I'm getting conflicting thoughts on the current situation in Shanghai. A lot of my favorite places have closed down (Jiang Li, Pine Club, Kang Ding) which to me suggests that it's really windy and risky nowadays. But I read reports that some of these may be re-opening soon. Do you guys know if any of the old awesome places like Jiang Li, Pine Club in Minhang and Kang Ding will make a comeback soon? Or are they gone forever?

Miss those places so so much.

Pine Club there is no "plan" to reopen and no forecast if there is a chance or not for them.

Kang Ding is still "on hold" like all the saunas in Jing An District and there is a 50/50 chance that they can reopen soon.
