I'm not going to argue about something like that. There are no GSM networks in South Korea or Japan. If you have a GSM phone with international roaming you can use it (for a premium) , but you can't get a SIM that will work on any local network, since they are 3G CDMA2000 800 MHz or 3G UMTS 2100 MHz. On top of that, the law in both countries requires every phone to be attached to a verified I'd. This means I'd, credit cards, etc, are required for rentals, prepaid phones and SIMs.

Some phones sold in the two countries can operate on GSM networks if you take them abroad.

I had a blackberry, non G3, that didn't work even with a local Japanese SIM. I then got a 3G blackberry, or any other 3G phone, will do too as once I borrowed one, and it worked with my own (european) SIM card in both countries.

The sound quality is not great, but over all it is a very good product. Amazon is selling it for $80 and SanDisk 16g micro SDHC memory card is $13 extra. I can't wait to try mine out at the Lisboa Racetrack in Macau.

I visited every bar on Fields Av in February so here is a map I compiled as well as a list of my TOP TEN BARS. Apologies for the delay in posting but I've had computer troubles, plus I've been writing a 60+ page diary (which I will probably post on these pages at a later date). To come up with my ten favourite bars was difficult because there are so many great bars and factors to consider. My advice is to visit as many as possible as great girls can be found everywhere (all prices correct Feb12).

MY TOP TEN BARS IN ANGELES:

1. ATLANTIS: The biggest bar is ATLANTIS, with 100+ girls each night and the easily the highest number of good lookers. The bar-fine is 1800 or 3000 depending on the girl. A&8200; definite must-see and unlike its SuperClub competitors Dollhouse and Forbidden City, there is no pressure to buy lady-drinks. Atlantis is window-shopping at its best and you even get a bowl of pop-corn with your drink.

2. TYPHOON: A much cosier venue, Typhoon has lots of young girls squeezed on to a thin stage in the middle of the bar. To take a girl away you buy her a 2000 bottle of 'Party Animal'. A good bet for very pretty girls. Every few minutes the girls take a step to the left which and like all Pasha Group bars the girls parade around the bar after they leave the stage. Meaning you get a great view of the girls. I bar-fined a gorgeous girl from here with the cutest face and sexiest body imaginable (who was happy to pose naked afterwards).

3. BODY SHOP: A new bar for me this trip, located just along from Tropix, opposite Orchid Inn. It doesn't look too promising from the outside (no flashy signs or screaming hello girls) but it has a great atmosphere inside with lots of pretty girls having lots of fun. Bar-fine is 1800.

4. CAROUSEL: Plenty of girls and a unique layout as the dancers stand on a rotating stage which means you get a great look at all of the girls. 80+ girls and some cute waitresses too. Lots of pretty girls can be found here. 'Bar-fine' is a 2000 bottle of Party Animal.

5. PONY TAILS is located at the start of Perimeter Road (a three minute walk from the Fields Avenue 'Walking Street' sign). It opens early so is perhaps one of the best bets for afternoon action (bar-fine 1500/1800). I bar-fined perhaps the prettiest girl of my trip from here on my penultimate night. I wish I had discovered it earlier!

6. INSOMNIA: When a manager of another bar recommends Insomnia as 'the best bar in Angeles' it must be good! The bar is located near Hotel Natalia and has lots of pretty girls and the best bet if you're a boob-lover like me. The stage is in the middle but try to sit on the left-hand side when you walk in. Great atmosphere. Bar-fine is 1865 pesos.

7. DRAGON'S DEN: Near the end of Fields Av, Dragon's Den is in the same block as Club Asia and Emperor's Lounge. Dragon's Den is my favourite of the three as it has nice girls and good shows. There is a two-tiered bar-fine of 1800/3000 but some of the 1800 girls are very pretty (I took a beautiful 'hello girl' from here for 1800 pesos who loved watching porn between pops.

8. CRYSTAL PALACE: This place is very popular and always packed as a result. 80+ girls, all young, many pretty with a two tier 1800/3000 bar-fine. One disadvantage is that the girls don't move around the stage very much so you only see those stood at the front. Resulting in a heaving mass of young flesh on the stage (not the worst criticism that could be levelled at a bar!). Bar-fined a really sexy girl from here who was a tiger in the bedroom.

9. LOLLIPOP: A lot of the bars I've mentioned are the bigger bars but it's always worth going on a bar-crawl and visiting the small bars too. They might have less girls but they often have a relaxed atmosphere. But most of all, gems can be found at very cheap prices. I saw one of the prettiest girls of my whole trip in Lollipop and the barfine is just 1600 (nearly half the price of a girl of a similar standard in Atlantis for example).

10. ONE EYED WENCH: Halfway down Fields, One Eyed Wench is located down a narrow corridor near Lancelot. There are normally some very pretty 'hello girls' outside luring you in. The bar-fine here is just 1500 pesos, making it one of the best value bars on Fields Avenue. There are some very pretty girls.

Other bars: It was extremely difficult for me to come up with a top ten because there are so many great bars but here are a few more that I enjoyed:

- BLUE&8200; NILE: BF1800/2000/2500. Another bar I'd recommend. Girls dance on a stage which raises up and the most expensive girls are those dancing on the tables. I bar-fined a girl from here for 2000 pesos who gave me the best sex I've ever had (she'd wake me up in the middle of the night for another session!).

- GENESIS: BF2000. Stage in middle of room surrounded by seats. Girls move about the stage, giving customers a good view. Some very pretty girls here. Bar-fined a really sweet girl from here.

- CAMBODIA: BF1800. This didn't impress me on my previous visit but now they have more girls (about 50) and some pretty ones too. Popular with ex-pats this place has a great atmosphere and the girls clap whenever a customer walks in, a nice touch I think. I tried to bar-fine a pretty girl called Jane from Leyte but she was on her 'mens'. Some very nice girls.

- QBAR: BF1800 SM95. Formerly Shark, only 12 girls were dancing but they put a lot of effort in and the place had a great atmosphere. Like all small bars, definitely worth visiting as there are some pretty girls to be found.

- LOVE N MUSIC: BF2000/3000. A very smart layout, looking like a high-class bar. The girls are similarly classy, wearing elegant dresses instead of bikinis. On both my visits there were only four girls dancing but about ten were sat on the sidelines. Quality of girls seemed very good although the place lacked atmosphere (maybe one to visit after 10/11pm).

- LA BAMBA: BF1800. A small bar with a cosy layout, this place is busy with customers and there is a really fun and friendly atmosphere. 15 girls were dancing when I visited including a few pretty ones. Another of the smaller bars that is definitely worth visiting.

- DOLLHOUSE: BF2000/3000. This place has a circular stage surrounded by tiered seating. It's a mixed bag. There are some pretty girls and they often have catwalk shows but a big downside is that Dollhouse is easily the worst bar on Fields Avenue when it comes to being pressured in to buying lady-drinks. Some lovely girls and I bar-fined a really cute and innocent girl from here for 3000 pesos.

Like I said, I visted every bar on Fields Avenue and there were many pretty girls, even in bars I haven't listed. I recommend starting early and visiting five or six bars per night, returning to your favourite to bar-fine the girl you liked most. Good luck and I hope my map is helpful.

How do I know, I purchased one about a year ago. It was a cheap fake from Hong Kong. I know Swann products and know it always come in a Swann box, with quality instructions, etc. This cam came in a bag. It took me 5 weeks to get a refund. Buy a pencam from Amazon at your own risk. My advice, pay $20 more and buy from FRYS online, and you can rest assured that it is a legit product from FRYS.

The sound quality on my Swann spy pencam is pretty good, considering the mic is micro in the pen. When u play back, you sould be able to hear pretty good (which depends on your play back method). As for me, I take my lap top with me on trips. I record using the pen, download to my laptop, view the video on my lap top, and also save to my laptop. The pen is recharged by plug into your USB port on your laptop. I have been to Lisboa Racetrack and the pen will work well. My advice, is to sit in the cafe facing the door where the girls walk by and let the pencam do its duty. Or, u can put the pen in your shirt pocket and walk around there, but the picture will shake. Try what workes for you. I have also taken the pencam to Thailand to the MP there. I find that the spy key chain works better form the stand point of not being noticed. It is easy to sit the key chain, with a few keys on it, on the table facing the bed. Put your other items next to it like some coins, etc. Make it seem like you just took some stuff out of your pants pocket and laid it on the table.
