Just a comment because at times there is a lot of conversation about pricing. All things all over the world are more expensive than they were 5, 10, 20 or more years ago. Even before that. If someone knows of a place where prices are the same or has gone down from where they were 5, 10, or 20 years ago, please share it with the rest of us poor people. I agree we may not like it but if things stop going up in price for anyone, I would guess you just bought the farm.

OK, here is the deal. I have been travelling asia-pacific now on several trips the last three years amounting to over six months in total. I have had a few girlfriends. By midnight each bar still has lots and lots of girls, so you needn't worry too much about missing out. I'd say that all of the bars in my initial post would be a good bet at midnight.

My advice: when you arrive, head straight to Atlantis as it has the highest number of girls with the highest percentage of hotties. If you don't see any you like, try Typhoon. It's much smaller and has less girls but the intimate atmosphere might appeal more to you. By 3am lots of bars close so I'd be looking to bar-fine a girl by 2am at the latest.

Then for the rest of your time in Angeles, try to visit as many bars as possible, making a mental note of all of your favourite girls in each. Don't just restrict yourself to the big bars. Some of the small bars have truly beautiful girls available for cheaper prices. Every night at about 11pm return to the bar that your favourite girl is at and hopefully she will still be there. If not, move on to your second choice etc. Bear in mind that if you miss out on a stunner (or as happened to me, you see a 10/10 but she's with another customer) you can return the next day at 7pm when the bar opens, to make sure you get chance to chat with her. The longer you are there, the bigger your 'mental shortlist' will be.

Insomnia is located just a short distance from the main Fields Avenue drag and it seemed to me that most of the best-looking girls were still there after midnight. In the 90's, I can also remember sitting in some bars in Subic, AC, Manila or Cebu listening to old timers reminiscing about the exchange rates and the quality of the girls in the 80's.

With that said, I recall back in the mid 90's the exchange rates were 25 or 26 pesos per dollar. True, the exchange rates dropped to 30/40 pesos per dollar during the 98/99 financial crisis, but back then, hotels, girls and drinks in AC were relative inexpensive compared to that in Hong Kong, Japan or US.

Today, I would say hotels, girls and drinks in AC are still relatively cheap compared to other areas. Looking for pretty girls and good sex is still as fun as it was 10 or 20 years ago. I know of guys who went to Thailand to be an English teacher. That works when you are young, but when you get older, getting paid a low salary really starts to suck. My advice, if a person really want to be an English teacher, get your degree and teaching lic in the USA. Korean, Hong Kong and Japan pay top dollar for real English teachers. If you are a legit science teacher, you will make big bucks in these countries also. That is the way to go if you want to teach in another country.

Thailand pays crap to be a English teacher. It is ok if you are just out of college and want something fun to do for the summer. But I know guys who are in their 50s and 60s now and hate the fact the spent their life in Thailand teaching English and never saved any money for retirement.

Many years ago, there was a website that had job posting for American agencies that had positions in other countries. For example, the Army may need an accountant to work in Guam to handle payroll.
