Woke up late again around 1. If I was in SD I would force myself to get up quicker since there is so much to do in SD. You can get really board of sosua. I say 3 to 4 days is enough for sosua even if you go out on tours cause sosua isn't really popping in the day. I got my times mixed up, I thought my 9ers were playing in the morning so I got a quick bite to eat then headed off to rumba bar to catch the game and work on that bartender. Got there around 2:30 and the owner said that they were playing later on. Since I had nothing to do I sat down, got some chicken wings and watched the eagles game at the bar. My bartender showed up at 3 looking really hot with a mimi skirt and a blouse showing her big ol titties. Talked to her a while and wathed the game. Got kinda of board so I left around the 3rd quarter and went back to the hotel to write day 7's report. Headed back to the start of the 9ers game.

Around the 2nd quarter I met this american guy who has a condo in sosua. We started talking about the DR and the people etc. We started talking a really long time. I guess he's a resident. Really nice girl but a little too big for me. I don't like girls taller than me. She was about an 7 to 8 but had a little gut. We probably sat and talked for a good hour bullshitting. He told me that this girl has only been to sosua twice and came with her girl to make a little extra money, like every other chica in sosua. From what he said she has a really good heart. The american spoke very good spanish. I asked him about "puttto culo" and he said it don't make no sense, that "solemente culo" would be understandable but not polite. It was about 12:30 at this point so I thought I would go back to the hotel for a little bit then go back to rumba to ask if the bartender if she wanted to get something to eat after she got off at 3.

Well, went back and rumba was kinda of dead and I was hungry. I saw the bartender sitting in front at a table by herself. I went over and she didn't even ackowledge me. I said a few words to her but I got this feeling like she didn't want to be bothered by be. I didn't even get a smile or nothing. So I went to the stand next door and got some chicken to go. Kind of funny she was acting weird, so as I was walking back I saw her talking to this white guy in his 60's. I saw this guy before at the bar and I could tell he like her and he speaks spanish. I thought its her loss. And walked back to the hotel and ate and went to sleep. No ass for me tonight, but I don't care I'm blowing through money and need to save it. It got me thinking though. The dominican guy kept on coming up to me and the american all night but we didn't want to be bothered by him. And I know he sensed that. I'm thinking maybe he went and told her something bad about me cause I was blowing him off. He asked me to buy him a drink and I refused so maybe he hated on me. It really sucks cause I like this girl, she dosent fuck around and is a good girl. She is really fine to me but there are a lot finner women in sosua to deal with but they are all hookers. I've been going to see her everyday I've been in sosua so there would be no reason why she wouldn't ackowlegde me when I saw her, thats the only thing I can think of. I'm wondering if I should go back today and give another try? I'm glad I'm leaving sosua on Tuesday cause this shit here gets old quick. Only two blocks of fun and its been raining hard so I don't want to go to Cabrate in the rain. There a lot more to do in SD. If I come back to sosua its going to be with friends and no more than three days.

There's some tests you can take on the internet, and I took a college placement test, and college courses and so forth and so on. But I know I still make a lot of mistakes when I speak (but not so much when I write it) but then again I probably use a lot of bad grammar when I speak English (but virtually none when I write it). I am comfortable enough with a few native speaker friends to where they have permission to correct me, but they aren't that well educated and sometimes I know they are wrong when they correct me. I guess such gringos just see that people are understanding what I say and that I understand what they say, and I can speak without hesitating. From a mongering standpoint I guess that is "very good Spanish" but I get pissed at myself for making the same mistakes after forty years. I think I speak pretty good Spanish but not very good Spanish, and I want to speak it perfectly, and I never will.

So I guess I will try to fuck another couple of hundred Spanish-speaking chicas before I outlive my dick and let it go at that. My friend I fucked today corrected me a couple of times but then my spelling and written grammar is way better than hers. If I stop to think about the grammar I end up correcting myself and it messes up the flow of things. Also I recognize a lot of my mistakes as soon as they come out of my mouth but I still keep making them.
