agree with Mahku that Puerto Galera has easy combo of BOTH varietals of diving (SCUBA & MUFF). General Santos supposedly too, though lkess newbie friendly (I have not been there). Dapitan/Dipolog area has nice diving too but not much girl action I saw (although I stayed at Dakak Resort with a GF and did not cruise town at night).
Bohol has excellent diving and is so easily accessed from Cebu you can find one there to bring along.

SH also mentioned Davao and Bohol. I'm not a diver, but both places have reasonable beaches and snorkeling. Panglao, Bohol has great beaches and can be reached by 90 min from Cebu by ferry plus a short taxi ride. I stayed at ISIS on Alona beach and I brought a regular lady with me. She went along with everything I wanted.
Typical day:wake up ...sex...shower...more sex...swimming... shower...lunch...sex... relax on...beach....snorkel...shower ...sex...etc.

Two ways to do it, one is go to "north terminal" near Sm mall and get the bus to "Da'an Bantayan" before you reach that "City" you will stop at the pier to take you to Malapasqua. About 3 & half hrs to four depending. Bantayan Island a little longer. Moalboal less a short distance but more stops it seems. All three a bargain at les than P100 one way.
Option two is to go to the "Van terminal" also nearby, here private vans wait until they get the fill of passengers and contract out to all of those places, fast as less stops (usually one for lunch) so cut an hour or more off the times. Fares vary but "make tawad" for about P300 to Da'an Bantayan. vans are a little cramped, make sure your the first one there and then jump in the "shotgun" seat.

Great info from Spam Hog as always, just to add to his comments.
Another option, especially if you have a girl with you, is to hire a private van to take you to your destination. I went to Moalboal by this way, driver was asking P2000, negotiated to I think P1700. Benefit is it's direct, comfortable, just you and your girl and whatever stuff you are bringing. Driver will stop if you want to buy snacks or drinks or whatever. You get transport directly to your hotel. If you are on a bus or shared van, you are going to end at some standard stopping point. Then have to take some other local transport to your hotel.
Personally, I like travelling a bit more like the locals. So, I try to use the shared vans whenever time allows. One thing to be aware of, they try to pack 'em in. If the van should hold 10, you'll have at least 15 to be considered full. I don't mind at all if the extra person practically sitting on my lap is a cute Filipina. But you might have her overweight , didn't take a shower today (or yesterday) uncle instead. Sometimes I get around that by paying for an extra seat. Cost per person on these shared trips is really cheap (around P100 to P150 for most of the ones I've taken). So you get a lot more comfort if you just pay for an extra seat.

The name of the resort is Pinagsami Bch. resort and they make great mango shakes, popular over there. Also is an outdoor bar close by where you can find locals. From Cebu takes about 3 hrs. drive.

For 3 weeks I've escaped to LOS and found that the ol' "boring" discussion of thai compared to Phil woman is actually NOT boring and is interesting.
They are truly a different breed. And their backyards are very different places.
True, in the Phils I'm JUST in cebu, having never stepped foot in a bar in Manila or AC. Therefor, Cebu is a puddle and as I write here from Bangkok, well it is certainly an ocean.
Prices: The costs are about 2,150 B here ST and in Cebu it’s about the same price for most places. The dollar is about 1::35 here and 1::50 in Cebu. I discuss performance and experience below, but the sheer amount of choice here makes the deal much better then the numbers sound. On some nights in Cebu it’s a lot of work to find someone that’s an 8+ or 9. Here it should be do-able any night at Nana or Soi Cowboy. You can cherry pick easier (no pun intended). And to me, Cherry picking is what sets a good monger apart from a great one. Only problem is that the beers and especially the ladies drinks really add up here. I think they are a good ½ or even 2X more here. If in Manila is prob more similar for all prices. In AC, Bangkok must be easy 2X more for everything monger related.
I've stayed at a couple places here. And I did a lot of research. I want too give a huge thumbs up to "Drop Inn" on Soi 30 Suk. It’s only 1-2 years old and rocks for the money. This place is about 23 USD, within a long stone’s throw (5 minute walk) of Soi Cowboy and a quick hop on the skytrain to Nana. It's a 3 star hotel with a lot of class, FREE wireless and land-line access, etc.
After boning countless women in Cebu, LOS is such a massive breath of fresh air. And the biggest difference I see here is one that others don't bring up as much. I think IF you are the type that girls can feel that special GF feeling for, this is in some ways better. That is harder to find here! In Cebu and the Phils in general all the girls want a damn ticket to the USA and it is on there mind 24/7. They are so into the heaven that is the US (Heaven compared to life in a shack, hell in ways they don’t know about) that they really don't care if the person they are with is a corpse.
Here I don't see that as much. The worship of the USA is missing and what a relief! This country has a lot to be proud of. They have a religion that may have even "got it right" better then we have in US and Europe. I am also sick of the worship of the overseas worker that is found in Phils. What a dumb idea for the head of a country to encourage all best and brightest to go away…especially at a time when outsourcing can make the Phils stronger in a lot of ways if they play that game 110% now.
I am on the verge of middle age so it’s not as easy to find the GF experience here as it was on the other 4 visits I did here, all of which were in my late 20s and early/mid 30s. I've been with 4 girls here. 2 of the 4 were very good in bed but it was not a true GF "I like it too" experience. I hate if girls are faking it, and I'm damn good at knowing at least to some extent. One of those was at a message place, so that’s to be expected. She certainly did her job well. No complaints about that.

wander Luster: Your post was a nostalgic stroll down memory lane for me, you have captured the essence of the Thai experience, my acessment has always been the best sexual partners in the world is a Thai woman (or two), they simply do do have the reservations sexually that Phils (or western women) do. They are also very nationalistic as you seem to have figured out and THAT is the problem.
You will learn as time goes by that it is an "us vs, them" the "them" being you or any other non Thai. You say the average bunny cant speak very much english, that is part of it,l they dont see any need to, other than to get by or get at your wallet. I learned to speak Thai fairly well and always played dumb, interesting to hear what they really say about you when you can understand them.
Bangkok was a place I always went for a slice of the fast life. Hard to compare it with Angeles or Manila, it is so different. Try to spend some time in the provinces, I would suggest Chaingmai (the train trip is facinating) or hop on a plane and head south to Phuket, my old home and see what they did with the reconstruction. Pattaya is okay but almost a mini Bangkok.
Also wait a bit longer for comparisons between Thai and Phil ladies, you will see what Im talking about, NEVER TRUST A THAI. Even the Educated ones.

You can get to (Sabah) Malaysia or Borneo from the Philippines via the infamous "backdoor" You would have to go to Zamboanga and get ferry service to tawi-Tawi hence to Malayasia/ Indonesia, only problem is that place is a "no mans land" over run with Pirates, smugglers and Moro Rebels, prime Abu Sayeef Territory.
You might get a ride on a freighter leaving Davao for Manado Indonesia near Sulawesei, I been to those places and beleive me you dont want to be there.

If you talk about the northeast of Malaysia and Sulawesi. I find it quite difficult to find good information about that area. I just loved Java and it s people, I also had very nice expiriences in sumatra, although i have been nearly beaten to death in a small village there, and i somehow want to get to know the mentioned area of malaysia and sulawesi aswell.

Just a quick note.
On ,my trip a month ago, I had the pleasure of traveling by ferry from Cebu to Manila. I enjoyed it. If you can spare the time (about 24 hrs), it's a very relaxing trip.
I made my reservation at an office in the mall. Apparently, the best accomodations you can reserve there is a "cabin". Don't think cruise ship here, more like WW II liberty ship. The cabin had four bunks, two per side, none of which were large enough for me (6 ft, 220lbs). Plus the "head" would have scared most submariners.
So I went to check about upgrades. No sweat, got a clean, comfortable room with carpets, two twin beds, TV, good AC and a stocked refer. 2,700 p. The first cabin was 1800. Spend the money. Simple buffet meals were included.
Didn't see much in terms of available ladies, but then we departed Cebu at about 9:00 PM. By the time I got settled into my second room, crashing in the AC sounded the best. There was a kariokee (sorry spell) bar that seemed to have a little action, for locals.
The views from deck during the following day were very nice.

What do you mean about the 1800? Is that for one bunk or for the whole cabin with four bunks?

Hey X,
That was kind of nebulous. I had insisted on a private cabin (security reasons, dive gear) and was qouted the 1800 p. But upon arrival I was told that the aircon in the area of the ferry that had unoccupied cabins, was not working well, so I would be sharing space. Vetoed that and took the "warm" cabin. Then changed my mind again and went for the upgrade. So I'm not sure if they were accommodating me since they had the space or if the 1800 was for the whole cabin. On my upgraded ticket for the suite, there was a stamp that said: "good for one px only". Maybe an additional fee for other px.

PS: I gotta say that the ferry staff went out of their way to make me happy. A word of warning: put on a smile and a "patience hat" when you get to the terminal. Absolute zoo with the usual porter attitudes at both ends.
Ok, first some generalizations:
- Asian women tend to have small breasts (except for FF's findings which skew the curve in a lovely way...but he's in a class by himself).
- Pinay, IMO, more often wear a B to C cup size than their other, Asian counterparts, though still not too frequently.
