I was looking at phote gallery and girls are not bad at all in Cali.
Personally I dont like long flights and lay overs. I think I might go to Cali on my first trip . CTG will be 2nd just because of flight issue. If Continental would have a flight from Houston to CTG than I must have gone to CTG first because of all the recomendations.

Those who never been to Cali, or who were to chicken shit to go, this guy name Dayron did everything to make my trip to Cali the best vacation. I speak limited spanish, (hola, cerveza, bano ). Dayron handle all my dealings w/ taxias, buses, dealing w/ beggars, hookers. Just having a Dayron as a wing man to keep my butt safe there made my vacation the best.
Those who are going to Cali give him a call to show you around the best damm *****houses.Dayron did everything to keep my expensive low. so there be a little tip for him. Let other newbies read it DIRECTLY from you: that almost nobody in Cali speaks ANY English (except at Hotel Intercontiental and the Marriage Agencies) including at the airport when you try to negotiate a price with a taxi and explain where your hotel is located. Also, while guerillas are not a problem IN THE CITY, there is is almost NOTHING to do in town besides chasing chicas and once you leave town you enter FARC country. While the guerillas stay outside the city, the criminals and drug gangs do NOT!
This is not to say that you cannot have a good time in Cali in reasonable security, but good judgment (and luck!) is essential. Cali is NOT Nuevo Laredo or anything.
I think you will come to regret not choosing Cartagena, despite having to take a connecting flight (Aerorepublica has a nonstop between Cali & Cartagena 4 days per week), but only time will tell. You CAN help educate other newbies as to your experience. Good luck (you'll need it!)

As far as English goes hardly any of the Chica's from CR,Peru and Thailand spoke any English. But I could always negotiate the deal some how.
As I have said in earlier posts, money is the language of puta's no matter where you are.
I am also thinking about hiring an English speaking guide for couple of hours a day.
I am only traveling for the purpose of hobby and nothing else. CTG is on my top list as soon as any airline start flying from west coast to CTG.
