Actually, I always had the impression that "suruba" is the term for a threesome while "festinha" refers to an orgy. That's how one veteran explained it to me many moons ago. Oh well it's all about the same.
BTW. I also made a return visit to Monte Carlo this past Monday. Not surprisingly it was rather low-key that night, but had a pretty good time. Still a few ladies I need to try at some point but Fernanda (formerly known as Pipoca in 4X4) was there and I couldn't pass her up. I've been with that thin little loira (bottle blonde) probably a handful of times; far more often than I usually go with a dame. But she's cute & cool and surprisingly the sex has gotten better with her each time. This is an increasingly rare occurence for me so I guess I'll continue to hook up with her from time to time. Give her a little present occasionally, no worries.
One thing I do like is that Brasilians have really started to embrace technology. Not so long ago I would ask a lady if she had an e-mail address and she would be like,"Why would I need that?". Now dames are frequently asking me for my e-mail and many people are constantly fiddling on their smart phones. One lady in a Termas wanted to give me her e-mail and she was surprised I didn't keep my phone on me. Seems now a lot of guys keep their little smart phones in their robes and then it's easy to add names & #'s to the contacts list. I have to admit that I never even thought about it until now. I have an old smartphone that I got unblocked and I use it here in Brazil. Through TIM I get a great signal and it's cool to have access to the internet on the fly like back in the USA. Don't know if I want to carry my phone around in the Termas with me, worried about it being stolen while I'm in the shower or sauna. Don't care about the phone but the data on it.
Maybe I'm thinking too much.

Wandering around O Centro Wednesday evening.
I made a quick trip to 4X4 around 4PM and got cleaned up. Made my way into the boate and it was rather calm; already quite a few guys sitting around but many ladies were still coming in to start work. Chatted with some of the regular ladies (seriously, some of them dames have been there for years) and even ran into a gal who was always at L'uomo before it was shut down. Said that she calls herself Andressa there, can't remember what her name was at L'uomo. I decided to try out a cute morena clara with curly, dirty blonde hair. I had seen her a few times before but never introduced myself until this day. She said her name was Galily or something. She is actually a but curvier than I usually go for but for some reason I found her rather sexy. We had some drinking and conversed for a few minutes before deciding to go upstairs. The first clue for me was that she wouldn't kiss much. Should have cut it off then and there. Needless to say the sexo was sub-par, not horrible but without passion and definitely not up to the standards I'm used to in Brazil. Another one officially added to the "not to repeat" list. After showering I when back to the boate for another drink and scoped out the scene some more. Didn't see anything immediately intriguing so I decided to head and view some other places just for the hell of it.
Stepped out of 4X4 and by this time it was approaching 7PM. I walked around the corner and past the doorway heading up to Club 81 on Rua the Quitanda. 81. Still open. Last time I visited that place it was so dark inside I could barely see five feet ahead of me (not a good sign) so I gave it a pass.
From there I went to Rua do Carmo to check on Club Cancun but when I got to that location all the doors were boarded up, so I assume that it is long closed unless I went to the wrong address.
For some reason I waned to check out MV30, located on Rua Mairink Veiga. 30. It had also been a long time since going there so it took a while for me to find it. It was still open so I went upstairs along with a bunch of middle-class Brazilian guys who had just gotten off work. The facilities are a little improved from before. Showered, got into my robe and went down to the boate. At this place it is up to you whether you want to wear a robe or just stay in your street clothes. Guys seem to go 50/50 either way. I enter the boate and it is quite dark with bright red lights. Even so, I could tell that most of the ladies were porkers. I actually noticed two Brazilian ladies who had really nice bodies but they were already taken so I had no chance to have a closer look. Briefly talked to some of the ladies there (whom I had no interest in). After about 10 minutes of nursing a beer I told the ladies I had to go. They seemed surprised."You are leaving?" "You don't like it here?". Correct.
Even as I headed to reception to turn in my key a couple of dames stuck their head around the corner and tried to get me to stay. I have to say the seeing their faces in bright, white light WAS NOT A PRETTY SIGHT. Nice dames but please; go back into the dark. Well that little adventure only set me back R$30 so no big thing. Centro has numerous budget places, more than you can count. Occasionally you can meet a gem at such places but I prefer the higher-volume, generally better quality casas. Still, it's good to visit the low budget places to appreciate the few good venues that are still around.

Club Cancun still alive and kicking.

So I went there around 5PM to check it out. I was off by about a block and a half and it was open. I go there infrequently so my memory was faded. I had time to kill so I figured I would go in and see what was what. Took a while for me to find myself around but eventually I found the showers and then went back down to the boate. It was pretty much how I remembered it from before, very mellow with some ladies standing by the bar and a few sitting down in the lounge chairs. The boate is sort of dark but at least they have some white lights in a few spots. I counted about 12 or so ladies, often a few of them would step out of the bar then return a few minutes later. Three Brazilian guys each had a thick gal they were chatting with. Four other Brazilian guys were just siting around and talking to each other. I'the say half of all the ladies were "thick", while the rest were either normal to even one or two thin ones. I saw at least 4 ladies that I found rather attractive, including a rather tall and thin dark-skinned lady.
One thing I like about Cancun is that they sell Itaipava beer there. Many other Termas only stock Skol or Heineken or some other crap. I got my brains screwed out yesterday so not so horny. I just sat and nursed my beer for about 30 minutes. Some of the ladies were starting to gather around me when I figured I had seen enough for the day. I could have chatted a bit & even gone for a bit of "sexo" but as I said the "beast" isn't so hungry tonight. As I was changing the attendants asked me if I talked to any of the girls & why I was leaving so early. I said not to worry, that I plan to return another day.
Indeed, I might just return next week to sample a lass or two. It's not the most exciting Termas in Rio but there is definitely some talent to work with.
