But I've been with them since 2000.

Maybe you are a new customer?[/QUOTE]They are not unlocking them until you have the phone for atleast 90 days. That is all of the carriers. I have a Sprint phone. I am just worried about getting it unlocked and somehow the person unlocking it screws up the phone somehow.

But don't do the Apple software updates if it is not an Apple unlock. This guy didn't listen and did the itunes software update and Apple recognized it as a bootleg unlock and locked it back down.

I remember it was 90 days before, but with my most recent purchase they gave me the code right away. T-mobile also unlocked a friend's right away last week as well.

Att and t mobile are gsm.

1. Will a Sprint Iphone 5C work in the DR? That is if you take it to a local shop and have it unlocked. Does it matter what carrier (Orange, Claro etc)?

The Sprint IPhone 5c has a sim card slot used for 4G. I am not sure if that will support a 3G GSM sim and when I talked to Sprint recently they said they do not permit using other carriers sim in their phones which means they wont or cant unlock it easily.

Orange will unlock it for 400 pesos and 50 pesos for a sim card. For the money sprint is going to charge you for international. Is the price of two ebay cells.

Are there any other GBP like establishments in Santo Domingo? That is cheap, a bit on the sleazy side etc? I am getting in around 9pm and am looking for some action before hooking up with the Tagged girlfriend. I want to try out GBP and provide a detailed report but it seems like it closes at 11. I read on another website something about a place called Pink Pony or something like that.

BTW-the Iphone 5C and 5S are both CDM and GSM phones. I'll be sure to report on if and how I got it unlocked etc when I am there this weekend.

Purchased a Samba from LG at Best Buy. Purchased SIM cards in Mexico City and El Salvador. Phone worked really well with texting.

I live here 8 months a year.
One of my good cupid girls who lives in Sosua is using her sister as bait. Her sister is 18 and cute. My chica tells me I can have both of them. This is a bucket project that is hard to turn down.
