Only thing is you inter-mingle with the regular pub hopping crowd, which can be a little bit uncomfortable. But for choice of FL Thais, Filipinas, Vietnamese or if you're into it, Africans, you'll easily spot them congregating around Gypsy, Reggae and the joints opposite them. Not as many as BC though, but sufficient choice. Quality is rather diverse, but while for products from these said countries usually start from RM500 or 400 at BC and you have to nego down, at Changkat most of the time they start at RM400 at most. Usually you can seal the LT deal for RM300, about the same if you're lucky at BC. U got to just walk in and out of the clubs around central changkat. Some eye contact will do the trick. Having completed my short visit to KL, here's what I think about Thai Club:

They mostly seem to hang outside when not connected to a man or a group of men. Ladies come from a variety of places but Viets seemed, this night, to be the dominant group. From time to time a clutch of girls will go inside and do the rounds hoping to attach themselves to some men. If unsuccessful they come out side.

* the music inside is REALLY loud and very, very good. The band was excellent. Tight, great singing and a great range of songs. After about 15-20 mins, my ears were hurting so I went out to the courtyard if I was not with someone.
