Can you expand here. Many of us are looking for dependable ways to retain WA etc images or chats for future use yet they can be securely hidden.
I, for one, have been taking the ultra cautious path of exporting then deleting my Contacts list and deleting all messages, photos etc the day before returning home. Safe, but I always end up losing track of who is who or the content of chats we may have had.
I did try exporting WA chats too but the txt file is essentially unreadable and to my knowledge, can't be reimported into WA.

I had an account for overseas travels which I would backup the entire phone to my monger email iTunes account. When I was at the airport departing for my next overseas adventure I would restore that backup to my phone. Essentially each time I arrived home I reset my phone back to factory then restored my home account.

On Android this requires uninstalling and reinstalling WA but that's hardly a chore if I retain the sim cards / numbers for revalidation.

Sure, so on most Android phones you can create multiple user accounts. For instance, my two profiles are "Travel" and "Home". On my "home" account I have my standard address book, all my apps from my every day life and the camera roll of photos that would not see my dick cut off with a machete by her indoors.
On my "travel" account I have the same address book but with my 'extra friends', plus the apps that come in handy (fake facebook, fake insta, badoo, tantan etc). On this camera roll are the photos that are definitely NSFW. The only issue is that for Whatsapp, you would need two sims (one for each account) as you can't have the same instance running on both.
I am VERY careful to ensure that if my phone is laying around it is on the "home" profile. My other half has my phone code and can use it to her hearts content.

The WA Biz account only needs the SIM at time of registration and once registered will run on the hone with a different number.
Thankfully she's not that tech savvy aand because her phone only has one profile (iPhone) she naturally thinks it's the same for all. And yes, both user accounts have a different password (neither are fingerprint protected since I had a friend have his wife unlock his phone when he was sleeping and hooooooo boy was he ever in trouble!
Fake Facebook is a whole other issue. When I first started the fake account I had to go in and block about 200 people who were on my real FB friends list. A lot of effort but over time I stopped getting the two bleed into each other (I used a different set of contact details for each during login too). If you're going to use a fake FB account you've really got to be vigilant, but for me it's more than worth the effort.

It seems to be able to connect the dots regardless if how many precautions are taken and, worst of all, you can't opt out of being recommended to others. I can just ignore or block recommendations for civilian friends on a naughty account but that naughty account being recommended to civilian friends could cause a whole world of pain.
It might be time to get another cheap phone / sim / social accounts just for FB and make sure there are NO connections between it and other devices / accounts. I thought I had done that but clearly I have not been cautious/paranoid enough in separating the accounts.
A lot of fucking around I know but I do seem to be coming across many girls now who only have Messenger.

The smallest amount of research on Big Data shows that Google, Facebook etc can cross reference so much more than just Contact Lists and usernames that you can restrict permission for.
Phones are in the same house / office many days in a row? Phones catch the same flight at 3 am? Phones are used to log onto any website using the same username? Any other of the millions of tracking points coincide? Bam, phones are now treated as owned by the same person and received the same travel ads, website recommendations, keystroke auto completes and friend recommendations.
Just because I'm overly paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't watching. 😎.

As a new paying member of Pina Love I have been paying attention to the number of years the girls have been on that site. Yikes, Many as long as 8 years still asking for serious, marriage minded, nice guy. LOL. Girls should just give up already and just say they want hook ups for fun.
