People have different sets of requirements. If your requirements are satisfied in an apartment, then you're good. Some people are vegan, their food is more expensive.

Why I love FKK's is the massive choice of girls, the perverted fun in turning down the "Sharks", well being facilities & free food enabling me to spend several hours or a whole day there relaxing & watching everyone, the general relaxing atmosphere inside & in the garden & the most important thing a big buzz that I rarely get at "walk ins".

FKK's do have negatives and as you say can be expensive with the entrance fee unless you stay a long time. Alcohol can be pricey too.

Personally I would always choose an FKK & make a day out of it however if I was restricted on time or just wanted a "quickly" I would certainly choose a "walk in".
