Colombia Jake Tours and Hotel now has its own thread on the main page!
Matt from Alaska came and went with no problems whatsoever! He has a very nice things going with Carolina whom keeps him from partying too hard, photo's at the www.Colombiajake.com. The girls I try to provide and or meet with you are not full time pro's, no they are girls that are usually a lot of fun and when they meet the right guy there is interest in a relationship which is what happened with Matt. It doesn't happen that often but those two are definitely into each other and she stay's with him the entire time he's here. She took us to her casa high in the hills and showed us the new big sink to wash clothes in and a wall that was going up. I told Matt the second story will be named after him because he certainly financed the new things we saw, but it made him feel good to help out and see where his money was going! He left a few days ago and Fernando whom is also in my photo's arrives Friday. He likes to stay at his favorite place but we have a lot of fun working the girls in Centro together and later exploring nice places to eat and see at night in out of the way places like La Doctora near Sabaneta and finish up with a cutie if he has any energy left!
Jake
AG, you pissed off again?
I nearlly shed a tear in happyness for Matt and Carolina but after giving it some thought, what a fucken idiot.
He's been milked, but hey, lets blame the Colombia Free Trade Agreement and PLAN COLOMBIA.
A. G.
Aussie, have a little compassion, amigo. Matt thinks he found one that fits. We all know that pussy can be more addictive than cocaine. He'll be ok if he keeps his expectations at zero. We only have what we are experiencing in the moment.
Think good energy!
You sir, are ill informed.
Legal,
The cocaine trade wholly originated in Colombia and was exploited by Colombians and has created incredible wealth for many there. Without that trade, US involvement in that country would be minimal.
The USA is actually late to the game in terms of trade with Colombia. Free trade is inevitable and irreversible for all countries.
The drug trade has not diminished one bit since the yankee's decided to be Colombia's daddy. The public officials in all of Sur America are corrupt, and many are neck deep in the drug trade. The USA is involved in Colombia to protect US interest there. United Fruit, for example, and because of Hugo Chavez and the anti-american government in Bolivia. Colombia is to South America what Taiwan is to China, in a sense. The Colombian Constitutional Court recently held that the government's program to allow US troops to be stationed at Colombian army bases was unconstitutional. We're bullies and that why many Colombians hold the US in contempt. The boiling of discontent, especially among the young at public universities in Colombia, could erupt at any time.
I didn't say that the Colombian Fair Trade agreement was not beneficial to both countries, on balance. I'm just saying that the Colombian government is leaving the soon to be displaced farmers out to dry, so to speak. Colombia has the second largest number of internally displaced citizens, exceeded only by Sudan. One in ten Colombians have been driven off their land by the leftist or para militaries, and now there will be more. Where's the social justice in that? Hey, karma works for countries, too. We Yankees are getting some bad karma, that's all.
In the immortal words of.
