They have foreign language counsellors there. You can have the test done there and get the results back in a week. The treatment, etc. Is obviously on a case-by-case basis and they will advise you depending on the results.

ciao japan, hello pakistan.[/quote]i have been to i-bad on business many times. i never found any fun. but wasn't really looking for it. i was focused on survival. it is a pretty dangerous place, and in that environment it is hard to trust anyone. throw in the cultural and religious norms, and you get a pretty complicated story. if i was posted to i-bad, my strategy would be to get out of country at every available opportunity. bangkok would be my second home. think about setting up a weekend pad in bangkok. or possibly basing your family there. the other game i would pursue, would be the embassy scene. get on the embassy party circuit and collect some foreign fwbs. finding a place to shag them will certainly be more difficult than tokyo. fyi food is pretty poor generally, restaurants are crap. i used to go to an iranian restaurant. it was good. can't remember its name. i was on a large central boulevard. take plenty of hand washes / sprays from tokyo. wet tissues, alcohol sprays etc. i was always down with gastro. personal hygiene is very low in pak. oh, and avoid or minimize travel on pia or other local airlines. best of luck!

I love japan, as you say, for all the other things that it offers, and that lead me to invest time in learning basic japanese. It's amazing how much goodwill you get when you start talking in japanese, even with simple beginner's level. And it does help A LOT in your mongering activities.

BKK is boring to me. I ususally stop for 24 h, empty my nuts 3-4 times, but after that, I just want to go.
